We will have Ballistas as siege weapon for EvilMen so a ballista expansion would be cool, but rather difficult to model and animate... We'll see though.

I believe Isengard has ballista expansion so I think those anims would be fitting :p

Yeah, that was my plan, to use those bones... but with no Lauri, no Windu, no LordIstari (don't know ehere he is) and with a TDP that is busy with school, it might be hard... =p

I am working on that treb model here and there, I just wish I could help out more. I know how to model, just not with Gmax/Renx. So I could make a ballista model based off of the Isengard version for you, it's just that I would either have to learn how to rig and skin it in Renx or leave it to others.

so nazgul, how's that muhad chieften upgrade for the mumakil coming along? It sounds like theres a lot of probems with it. Just wondering if it will be in 4.5.

Het Driz... no I'm afraid not :( It seems we could never solve the model placement on the Mumak. I hope we can get it right for Beta V if we find new modelers to help, but it's highly unlikely that it will be in Beta 4.5...

I will strive to have the Mahûd as a "normal" hero instead (for now), just cause the I love the model but judging from the number of heroes already in Mordor that might not happen either, unless we make it another "Captain Jackson" with lvl 10 from start and placement in another building (like the Harad Tent). It would defenitely fit best as an upgrade for the Mûmakil. Just too bad it's so hard coded...

oh well. And the muhad idea is cool, but bfme2 deluxe edition had a cool unit called the hasharin used to take down heroes. i think he would be a coller unit than a muhad, plus you dont have to use him as a hero.

Hehe that was a good question... Hm, I'm not sure... but we might make Drogoth a species instead of a single unit. Meaning that there would be more (at least a second) unit in different skin, fighting for EvilMen... But I'm not sure. This will need some thought :p

You mean that "extra Drogoth"? Yeah if so, it will be for Beta V. We havn't planned any more Betas after that, but I guess (knowing the Team) it will be more before Final release. EvilMen will be in BetaV regardless though... =)

Having a dragon for all factions is... well you're lucky Zimoo isn't here anymore.

Gondor - Eagles
Dwarves - Eagles, Ravens (scouts though)
Mordor - Fellbeasts
Isengard - Crebain (scouts though)
Goblins - Dragons if you must
Are the only lore or movie based flying units there should be imo.

You don't need to give all factions a flying unit, both from a uniqueness and lore POV. IMO you should try to balance it out another way.

Looking at the above, I'm getting grumpy, so I should probably go to bed now...

Hehe yeah, sleep tight...
But note though: I did not say Dragons for ALL factions :) But other than that you're right and the diversity of SEE is one of the pillars of the mod actually. So IF we give them a flying unit, the dragon would be the only one to fit. But it's a long way to Beta V so we'll see... =)
