Artillery spotting:
- Deploy artillery into buildings and give the English Sniper an overcharge weapon
- Do we want this? AP, AT & AA basic defences and some sort of ownage device? Or do we want the 3 defence system with AP, AA & Ownage device? Or do we want a more flexible defence system ala TS and RA?
- Maybe not.
- Stupid and impossible.
- We have a storyline that isn't cannon at all.
- I would prefer neither...
- I would like to see the M.A.D. tank and flame weaponry, but otherwise, nah.

Remaking should be keeping it almost exact or making changes that would have been in, such as prerelease Allied flak guns which actually fits them.

There should be NO new countries. That is not remaking its making another crap mod like all the others. Technically, TX, Australia is in RA2 cos we own ya land.

finally! Anyhow I was thinking about the TW Supers as well into this allowing more game play and problems for gamers who let the game drag on

SW's should stay at the required minimum.
Allies got a Chronosphere and a
Soviets got an Iron Curtain and a Nuke
After that, all superweapons shold fill in roles needed. Why do the Soviets have a SpyPlane? Because they don't have a Spy Satelite. Why do the allies have a Sonar Pulse? Because Soviet subs are really powerful.
The EMP pulse discourages the Tank Rush.
Paradrops allows for fast infantry deployment when land vehicles cannot get through.
DropPods allows infantry to enter bases when no entrance excist (Basically, it is the equivalent of the SubAPC)
The Hunter seeker is for breaking stand-stills.
We don't need an Allied artillery barrage, or a Soviet MiG airstrike, what we need is the Iron Curtain, Chronosphere, Nuke,

At last! Another sane person joins the discussion! There should be NO new countries. That is not remaking its making another crap mod like all the others. Technically, TX, Australia is in RA2 cos we own ya land.

I like the idea of returning the Nuke back to the Allies, but perhaps give it some variation to the Soviet one, even if it is in name only (ICBM anyone?)Allies got a Chronosphere and a
WeatherstormNuke
We don't need an Allied artillery barrage, or a Soviet MiG airstrike, what we need is the Iron Curtain, Chronosphere, Nuke, Weatherstorm, and something to supplement the sides. Soviet tank rushes? Counter with Allied Mine Paradrops. Allied fleet comming to close? Counter with Soviet tidal wave generator.
I like these ideas. They all would be possible, if we were to use the RockPatch, or should I be calling it the "Swizzle Patch™©©©™©"?

In Red Alert they were...Right... Soviet Subs are really powerful... why do Destroyers have Ospreys again?
I was making examples of how Support SW's work by referencing RA and TS.Since when in the RA timeline did the EM Pulse get invented? Same with droppods. There is no orbital station, only Spy Satellites. And Hunter Seekers? Remind me, this an RA2 remake...?
Of course there should be no DropPods in the RA2 Remake.
About giving the Nuke to the Allies too:
That is one of the things I really like about Red Alert. "Yeah, sure, the Soviets are evil and stuff but we're still a Nuclear superpower and will use the exact same weapons if we have to."

New Gamemodes
New Maps
New Voxels(duh)
New Campaigns?
NO Swizzle/Rock/disgusting patch involved, at all. MO uses RP and when I play MO online, it ruins the rad. So I cant use 4 things, the Nuke Power PLant, the Desolator, Demo Truck, and the Nuke. Is it worth sacrificing these things in online play for some pathetic patch just to have extra logics? HELL NO. Keep YR as is.

What would be the point of just adding a bunch of game modes? Give me a day or two and I'll do that myself. A mod needs to change things to be interesting.
Radiation? Do we need radiation? RA didn't have it, TS didn't have it, TW doesn't have it, and it is one of the more unrealistic features. (Mind controling actually made more sense) To make it have a sense of realism it would need to last forever, which would make infantry obsolete (Haz-mat suits!) So we have the choice between no RP and no rad, I choose no rad.
RP does so many great things. Think about the scene in RA where the Chronosphere is activated while soviet Heavy Tanks and... Hum-vees? are rolling towards it. They aren't erased, only frozen. Quite like the EMP logic isn't it.
The question that only Speeder can answer for now is how far do we go? Do we make the sides like they should have been? Do we make the game like it should have been? Do we make the game beyond what it should have been?

this mod sounds like a good thing, but it seems annoying to remake all units, buildings, etc... good luck with it

EDIT: I've changed my mind about not being a part of this remake, what do we want the voxels to look like again? If somebody could post images and the like, I'll see what I can do (when I get the time )

Realism is so overrated it isn't even funny. You already know what happens in reality, how is that entertaining...?

I'm not even sure that I want to be a part of this community YR-remake anymore Whenever I say anything, I just get told to shut up! Anyways, this mod should include the SwizzlePatch It contains some very useful features, even if it prevents some people from playing online (which they should have gone and complained to VK about) If we wanted a good, bugless MAD Tank, like the one in RA, we would need the SwizzlePatch New colours? (I have a bug-free way of adding 8 new colours to the menu) we would need the SwizzlePatch Special nuke for the Allies? We would need to make a NukeClone using the SwizzlePatch. It just has too many good things that we would have to let go of, and imo not using it would be a waste

You do need the RP to get the 20 cell AoE.

I never quite got why we need the Rock Patch to make a bugless M.A.D. Tank, all you need is for it to deploy into a building that has a weapon that automatically fires, but needs to charge up for a while, just like the Tesla Coil.
You do need the RP to get the 20 cell AoE.
Hmm I wonder. Because Beowulf had it working in his mod a while back worked fine if you ask me with no RP.
