you can alter this number easily :p But I thought that it might have something to do with that... like, 8 different textures, but there is 8 new ones in the HA upgrade, so you should have 16.... it shouldn't have anything to do with it though ;)

We'll get to that when you've come up with some more varied skin things. I'll put the Mirkwood Archers on my ToDo-list though. I'll start it after we've merged our files.

The Mirkwoods work fine, cause they're all in LA skins... ;) The problem is only when upgrading to HA, and they don't use that...

The problem is that EA codes doesn't rellay support random skins (which this would be) when upgrading to HA.

absolute nonsense ;) did you ever saw rohirrim codes?
RandomTexture = RUHorse01.tga 0 RUHorse03.tga
RandomTexture = RUHorse02.tga 0 RUHorse03.tga
RandomTexture = RUHorse03.tga 0 RUHorse03.tga
RandomTexture = RUHorse04.tga 0 RUHorse03.tga

Behavior = SubObjectsUpgrade Armor_Upgrade
		TriggeredBy				= Upgrade_RohanHeavyArmor
		UpgradeTexture			= RURohrm01.tga 0 RURohrm01HA.tga
		UpgradeTexture			= RURohrm02.tga 0 RURohrm02HA.tga
		UpgradeTexture			= RURohrm03.tga 0 RURohrm03HA.tga
		UpgradeTexture			= RURohrm04.tga 0 RURohrm04HA.tga
		RecolorHouse			= Yes
		ExcludeSubobjects		= Forged_Blade
	End

blah..everyone knows those codes. firts one randomizes skins and the second one replace specific textures with their HA version.

Harsh words... :p :p
But you're "wrong", I'm sure you got it to work, but you must have done something else too... cause I did exactly like that with the basic Elven units (Lorien), and the LA skins work fine, but when upgrading to HA they all use the first HA skin, despite the codes being set just like in your example...

Nazgul is correct. Whenever you try to upgrade your units with random textures, only one shows. Even if you change the lod settings, it still only shows one. :p Childobjects is the only way I know how to fix this.

Thanks Rob... I don't doubt Cahik either though, but I guess someone in the RA crew must have done something else to your setup Cahik? :/
Cause this is the sad fact...

I presume it's a "flaw" in EA's codes (read "not programmed") to be used that way since all EA units upgrade to the clone skins that we're so familiar with ;p

Sûl will most likely set up the childobjects for this though since I will send all extra skins back to him with the next Internal/Private Beta =) We will also need to do the same to Nazguls if we're ever gonna see more than 3 of them (fell, horse, foot) used by the AI :s

There's also a dwarven hero somewehre on this site called Mardin!
He's the personal bodyguard of king Durin. Well, but since both were slain in the mines as they fought against the balrog... : / (Mardin is probably an invention of GW) but still, it would be a nice idea to act a bodyguard kind of unit to dwarves. As i've read, these bodyguards are elected from the best soldiers of the Khazad Guard or other elite units. Since they are always in company of a king, they could be summons from king Dain or something like that, not? :p

Hey I got a Power for Thorin Oakenshield. Call it "Oakenshield". When he uses it he has to go grab a tree and when he does you see him holding a branch and his armor is greatly increaced. Thorin really did this in the books. Where do you think he got the name Oakenshield?

.....Prince Brand is EA crap. IDK. They already have their list of heroes, though. Go check the To-Do list...or even read the earlier parts of this thread, HK.

Balin

^ These things are already known... so once again: maybe you should scan around the threads... like "ToDo List" and "Screen Shots for Beta 4.5" :)

I almost forgot... Juissi - the former Makaveli - my northern neighbour in the east, have made a model and skin to donate to us. It's meant to be Balin and I think it looks pretty good :p TDP is also gonna make some dwarves later on, so we will have even more models to choose our heroes from ;)

But I think this could make a good Balin :lol:
