This could be a stupid question, but y didn't everyone just go to the undying lands?

You'd have to read The Silmarillion to understand that; the Undying Lands are inaccessible to the world of Men, Dwarves, Hobbits etc. Even if they attempt to sail westerly as soon as they reach, well, not even where the Isles of Númenor were (if I remember correctly), the waves and the torrent of water would sweep them back East towards Middle-Earth. The isles of Númenor were as close as Men got, to the Undying Lands. It was their paradise, a utopia, but then Sauron (if I remember correctly) deceived the Men of Númenor and the isles were gone forever (if I remember correctly).

The Hobbits, Bilbo and Frodo Baggins were exceptions due to their valour and bravery in the saving of Middle-Earth from Evil, so they were granted safe passage to the Deathless Lands.

Most, if not all Elves were originally situated in the Undying Lands. When Fëanor's silmarilli were stolen, his family (??), decided to go with him as well as some of his sons or brothers or both (can't remember, maybe someone else could clarify), and in this way they defected and were promised that they could never return to the Undying Lands. However tens of generations down, the Elves, I believe all of them, were given their ancestral privilege back. My answer doesn't fully explain, your best bet is reading The Silmarillion

The undying lands arent called undying because the land doesnt die, but because all of their inhabitants were infact undying.(elves etc.)

the only people who WERE mortal but did go to the undying lands were indeed Frodo and Bilbo. Uruk king, can you give some references for your statement?

tho infact everyones spirit goes to the house of mandos after they die wich is in the undying lands also, if im right. so technically everyone goes to the undying lands. I THINK.

Gimli went there, Sam as well.

References? It's in the books somewhere, look it up yourself.

hmm asuming that poeople of the east were free of Suarons servance, and if both istare ( morin., romest. ) have stayed in the east lands, i think they could " live on " as teachers of the poeple ( not teachers in the term we know it today but, teachers like Nostradamus, or Galileo Galileay and others ) and bring more knocwledge and lore to the poeple of east,

for ragedagast, i assume he was wandering the forest realm, living with anymals, and not caring for humanoid races, living with his animal friends togather.

well but this is just the way it might be, or better to say as i imagine it. for Tolkiens unfinished stories, as well as LOTR trilogy haf opened ending soo we are free of creating our own stories :) ( good job Tolkien, well done )

"Let the echoes of doom resound across this wretched world, that all who live may hear them and despair."

Very interesting....but it doesn't really matter, since the mod doesn't take place after sauron died :)

Look it up in the appendixes in RotK, Sam followed Frodo over after Rosie died, gimli went with legolas when aragorn died.

In the Arnor thread we were discussing Glorfindel. Now I didn't want to bring this up there because it would be OT.... But:

Could we give him a stronger level 10 power or something? I don't know about you guys but with Glorfindel's history, I think that he needs a more offensive power. Right now, he's a supportive hero (which is fine b/c there's nothing wrong with being a supportive hero ;P ) but Glorfindel has a history of some hardcore fighting. And I also second what everyone else said in the Arnor thread about his stats...

I believe that I have been pushing for an offensive level 10 power for Glorfindel for a while now, so I apologize to those of you that have to re-read my Glorfindel stuff.

i think glorefindel needs to be redone - whole new Glorefindel should rise up. no more concentrated on support ( maybe just some leadership ), and getting powerfull abillties for as Scyer said, he HAS damn hardcore hystori.

i think he should be changed into antihero hero type ( fighting the nine, balrog, and other dangerous enemies ). Giving him some powerfs, of hihg dmg, and weapon focus specialities ( like those " berserker rage " but just for dmg and AoE ).

and last touch - making him 4000 ( or 5k ) hero, stronger then elrond ( for Elrond is good with other heroes, thx his support shits, ) i think Glorefindel should be, specialist on duel fights ( means pickin up on heroes, and huge beasts )

To be honest, that's what I read too.

But if we wanted Glorfindel to be Rivendell's most expensive hero, then we'd have Arwen as Rivendell's early-game hero, Elrond as Rivendell's Mid-Game/Support hero, and Glorfindel as Rivendell's late-game hero. I don't know why I just recapped that...

I think that the rest of Glorfindels' powers are okay though.... Hmm, I'm thinking of a level 10 power that has something to do with light.... Like a really powerful light laser or something. What do you guys think?

Something along the lines of Mount, lvl 3 blade of purity (300% damage and 10 seconds invincibility), lvl 7 or something noro lim, mounted speed increase, and lvl 10 starlight, heals allies and gives them some leadership.

Ugh...don't like the sound of that :p
How about something like this:
Level One:
-Mount Asfaloth.
Level One:
-Chieftan of the Elf-Lords. Powerful leadership, +175% combat experience, +75% damage. Also causes terror in enemies.
Level Three:
-Noro Lim. Temporary movement increase.
Level Six:
-Requiem. Skin change to heavy armor, massive defense increase. And, if possible, wider leadership radius.
Level Six:
-Transendence. Single, powerful attack. Click and aim, basically.
Level Ten:
-Revealed in Wrath. Faster attack rate (+50%), damage increase, twenty seconds of invincibility, all enemy hero power reacharge times are reset.
---
What d'ya'll think? The only one I'm not really comfortable with is "Transendence."
Cheers,
-mike
