Maybe not as cheap, but I really don't find a use for the Swordsmen.

Yeah, I agree with Clone, the swordsmen are somewhat useless.

I thought of a new unit for the elves, Huorns. They're basically just walking trees. They're what the ents shepherd. You could build them at the Entmoot. What do you think? :p

I'm not sure if it belongs here but since frodo is with elves, I'll put this here, sorry if it was suggested somewhere, since I didn't read every existing posts ever.

I think when frodo pulls out his sword orcs\goblins around him should be effected by fear since they were affraid of the sting.

Yes but Frodo already has the phial which causes fear so I don't think two fear causing elements would be such a good idea

Doesn't the phial cause them to flee? I mean fear as in armor damage reduction

I agree with the Major. Sting did cause lots o' fear. It would be a small anti-armor bonus.

Yeah, Sting might cause some sort of attack or armor weakining thing or something..

OT:And to Clone, I figured that since others were doing that, it may work for me too. Obviously, it doens't....lol

I would like to see a new skin for Arwen...with some armour...she wouldn't go to war in nothing but a quilt over her shoulders.:good:

Huorns are trees with Ent like qualitys. Some huorns are Ents with tree liek qualitys. It could go either way. They are basically ents that are rooted into the ground.

And Ents sheperd ALL trees. The ents were nto made by Eru, they were made by one of the Valar, I cant remember her name. She was concerned for the plants and animals she made that were being killed by Morgoth. She knew the animals could run, some could even fight back, but the plants were defenceless. So she made the Ents to "shepard the trees". By shepard they really mean protect.

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

Hello.
Huorns would be really cool. But since they can't move (or can move just in terribile fury and even then very slow), I think it would be cool if you could UPGRADE a Mallorn Tree in a Huorn. Then the Mallord Three would defend itself from the attackers and reheal if a worker would "estinguish fire" on it (even if it wouldn't be on fire, it would just reheal faster).

Anyway...

I was playing with Elves and I made an Entmoot. I trained Treebeard from it then I trained an ent three times. The thing is... The ent was always "Fir" ;) . I think it would be just as good if you would make all those ents heroes. You could also enable leveling for them.

Did it happen just to me or everybody get's elvish Eagle (Not Gwahir) level 10 when built ;) ? I think the dwarven one is level 1...

I kept playing with elves for some time... The I suddenly noticed resurces started to raise kinda fast... Very fast in fact. The were raising so fast that the numbers that where flying out the Mallord Tree were covering eachother. I built a new Mallorn Tree and it leveled up to level 3 in 30 seconds! I checked my allyes and foes... They had the same "problem" ;) ... After I finnished this game I checked my Income Rate per Minute. Belive it or not, it was 24983,21 :xcahik_: . Now thats OMG.

P. S. I don't think that that "she" of yours made Huorns and Ents, Strider. It was Iluvatar, if my memory is correct, and he made it for her when she asked for "help". (Lol, I can't remember her name as well, I just know she was the "wife" of Aule, the guy who made Dwarves)

P. P. S. And to Rhodin, Arwen wouldn't go to war anyway. That is one of the things I hate the most in the movie. It shouldn't be Arwen who saved Frodo from the Nazguls, but Glorfindel. I'd like her erased from the game, adding Sons of Elrond or somebody else instead.

You could also unroot the upgraded Mallorn Tree and move it to an other location not far from the original location where, maby, it would gater resourcer more oficiantly or just make you space to build something else on the original location.

Yeah well...if she's in the game...she should have armor...if she were to be scrapped, she wouldn't need a new skin.
