I don't think they should actually cost CP, you just have to have a certain amount to get them. That doesn't make sense, but let me explain it this way. It's like going to a store, but you can buy something without giving the store money. All you have to do is HAVE the money. (i.e. You can't train a hero until your army is a certain size, but the hero still costs no CP.) Am I making any sense at all? So your ability to buy heroes depends not on how many CPs you have left, but on how many you have used up.The reason I removed CP for heroes was to make armies bigger...

Wait: You guys are having this trouble with HUMAN players? Where are you going to play against people? I have only ever played against the AI.

but I too never played against a HUMAN player! is that even possible?? O.o i would LOVE to do a match against you guys ^^ (AI is only entertaining, if you use two or more armies on "hard" against you... : / )
OnT: I have to admit, i like the system with the heroes as it is now. I, for my part, always build BIG armies (look at my screeenshots ) BUT i also love to have the decision in my hand, when to recruit a hero. For example: One of my strategies with mordor is mass-producing farms in early game to reach about 6-9k Gold and buy 3 nazguls instantly for base defense and THEN recruit my big-ass army

Yep, it's possible! link You just have to coordinate with the person you want to play against somehow, since not many people are on the network.Glorious Charge, a power of Theoden, let's your cavalry only take 10% of damage for some amount of time.

How about making heroes dies? If you made it that after you have bought your hero, if he dies thats it. No ability to re-summon them. Should make people a bit more wary to go solo with them. Also, make the heroes different, so that some are tanks, like gimli, eomer etc, and some are support heroes that add leadership, special buffs like theoden?

Anyways, it's kinda hard to explain, but Junkie seems to get my idea. You can only build a hero after you have USED a number of command points, example you must have an army of 200 CP before you can buy Aragorn, but Aragorn isn't costing command points.
