Maybe the CAH wizard could be used for Radagast? The Dwarves oughta have a wizard ^^

I'd like them to have a Wizard too, but the CaH wizard doesn't look that good in my opinion. Might just do a reskinned Gandalf =)

We'll most likely have Radagast for Dwarves, since Dwarves have so few heroes. But two more Dwarves will be added first :p Thorin and Balin or similar...

I saw earlier in this topic a suggestion for hero-groups or something, as in having more than one hero together. For the dwarves, perhaps if you want to add the 13 dwarves from the hobbit, you could group them(by name :p )
Dain: alone
Thorin: alone
Balin & Dwalin: ranged heroes, can stealth/scout
Fili & Kili: balanced; decent armor and damage; maybe bonus when near Thorin
Gloin* & Oin: siege heroes; explosions and fire
Bifur, Bofur & Bombur: powerful but slow
Dori, Nori, & Ori: low power but fast

*I know this would weaken Gloin if he was put in a group but I think it he would be alright

These groups would not be super-powerful like the heroes already, but would be somewhat weaker; maybe only 3-4 powers (excluding Thorin/Dain, etc) That might make them more balanced, and it could include many notable dwarves from the 3rd age.

(I'm trying to begin a hobbit mod and have full ideas for 5 factions and such but I'm just a beginner, :xd: so I can just about rename some powers and create new heroes. If I ever learn a bit more about how do do things like make models/skins and group heroes, then I would be adding a dwarf-hero-group feature to my mod)

what if you make the elven heroes weak,and the goblin heroes strong?remember that evil was rising at that time,and i wish you would put pippin in gondor,merry in rohan,Sam could be for the Elves,and you could put Frodo in Elves or Dwarves.It would be better that way so you dont get bunched up with heroes for the elves.

About Bolg: he did have a formidable bodyguard at the Battle of the Five Armies, so maybe you can use that as a power. Not necessarily as a summon, but you can maybe add a battalion that protects him in battle (like the BC function for heroes that I mentioned on one or two occasions).

From Tuckborough: He was surrounded by a bodyguard of huge Orcs with steel scimitars.

Good idea MS! Far better than a lot of goofy powers. I'm already thinking of nerfing a lot of heroes anyway, and stuff like that is better as "powers" :thumbsupsmiley:

If you think about it, all the leader hero's like Gandalf/Sauron/Elrond/Dain/Aragorn/Boromir/Faramir should be able to summon a squad of spam units to fight around them.

Especially when you consider how weak their all going to end up

you mentioned aragorn two times lol.
but i think that when the hero is injured,the body guards come from the fortress and try to get to the hero,would be interesting as we have Boromirs Horn of Gondor,maybe the horn can not only scare enemies,but make the units come to defend Boromir.

If there was a way to code units to enter from off screen, sure. But I don't know how to code that. I'm no high level coder. I mostly just edit existing codes, and there are no units in game that does that, unfortionately.

You could make the horn a passive ability that acts when boromir is near dying together with his berserk thing.

It could have

1.The fear effect
2.The berserk effect
3.Have all units nearby coming to help boromir.

If he survives his power would have to recharge,or he could use his power only once in a live.But i think if he uses this power he should at least have the chance of surviving.

That would be really epic,wouldnt it?

In the TBFME1 Deezire mod (if you remember, it's the mod with the Nazgul falling down when dying instead of exploding. I contacted the maker of the mod to use his anims, but you made your own) there was a horn power that, once used, made all the units retreat back to your base to defend it. I have the (uninstalled) mod on my hard drive, maybe you can take a look when you have a lot of time on your hands :thumbsupsmiley:. Or one of the other coders can take a look. Just give me a call!

^^ newest version. It's for 1.02, not sure if if works with 1.03. He was working a new version for the latest patch, but it just disappeared... That will not happen with our Extended Edition :D.

King Dain has two empty power-slots... maybe a training power for dwarf forces could be given to him?
