A small tip: If you have the movies, which I presume you have :p you can use VLC Player and it's screen capture/dump function to grab screens that will place themselves in your "My Pictures "folder. A great way to get material to work with =)

Thanks for the tip Naz, but Im not familiar with VLC player.

The whole of MT was on fire because of the catapults. And the 7th layer is on top of the mountain wedge, where the citadel is. Mordor definitely didn't get that far.

Any chance of showing a zoomed out shot in WB?

you will have to forgive me for being illiterate, but that button would be the one with a mouse arrow and paper on it? if it is I push it and nothing happens, nothing to paste into paint.

Tis a key on the keyboard: 'Prt Sc' is what mine says, and is to the right of F12.

Thanks Naz, for the screens and the compliments. heres a shot of the main gate area finally finished, its real minor but It polishes everything off nicely, I spent most of the evening realigning the top of the city, it was slighlty off.

Oh my... this almost makes we wish I had BFME2.

Of course we wont be satisfied until we see men on the top level :p But since you have modelers at your disposal to add elevator bones and walkable planes... that shouldn't be too hard.

Well it's possible without doing that. You can add floating walkable objects under the wedge (though you'd need to turn the fade-out off). I've seen it done on a bfme 1 map

I don't think the map (game) would support too many levels though... I beleive there's a maximum of "height-ness" in the game...

@NJM: Is that puny dude in the gate, Aragorn? :p

Make a screen with Grond in front of the main gate! (Of course scaled to match S.E.E. Grond.)

yeah that would be him

ok

Yeah there is Im not sure what that height is though, sometimes when I mistype a height in the world builder like 5000+in the height tool it goes negative instead. I appreciate the the comments but sometimes the work involved to get that one thing for one map is too much. but since you have a mind to talk about it, why dont you do it, be my guest, everything that Ive done thus far on this map is learned as I went, Ive only edited 1 map before and it was one i got online that I made changes to for myself.

Just rest assure that I and the team love what you do  :shiftee:

A bit hard to tell from WB shots... but most likely a huge improvement over EA's square box they put there :p Any chance of in game shots, using cam? :p
