anyways though heres a shot of the field, comments and suggestions welcome its harder than you think to get it to look good.

Btw, do you know WB has an autosave function? Therefore you shouldn't have lost all that work (although why you didn't save for 3 hours I don't know, unless I'm missing something)

Sounds interesting... ^r.e. the mountain - in BFME 1, an object was used for the mountain. That should still be in game (misc_natural I think). You could use that to make the mountain bigger, as you can place it off map and it will appear.
I agree with Dain here - in the movie, the fields look rather deserted and "empty". No need to overdo it with detailsHrmm.. trees and everything will be nice, but in the movies at least, the Pelennor fields were just rolling hills. I know in the books they were farmland and things.. but it depends on which interpretation you want to go for.
