hmmm.....maybe you are all right....Let's just scratch Rivendell and Mirkwood, keep a couple of supplemental units that can be called for allies that you can only call a couple of them in. Sure would save me quite a bit of time.
Come on, people. Will there be unit overlap? Is there overlap between any of the other factions? Gee, it seems like all factions have a sword type unit. They must therefore all play the same and so I'm going to get bored with each faction I play, because they all use the same basic overall system......really?
Ouch, i just got hit by the sarcasm train
If you're going to continue that argument, then I guess I have to explain my original reasoning.
1. I don't think anybody asked you to completely get rid of Mirkwood and Rivendell.
2. At first, my logic was that statistical differences aren't enough when you have 3 units of the same type and tier that you can get in 1 game. I still think 3 kinds of units is excessive and that 2 is better, but against the ravaging hordes ( ) of people who disagree with me, ima stop arguing and accept 3 since it's not that bad, especially when u can't get the other two until late in the game, which is unlike Mordor who can get 3 kinds of swordsmen at the same time (could u tell me what the differences are between those? IIRC, I still don't think you've explained that ).
