how about the simple Projectile Bugs...

Elite Apocalypse Tanks cannot Fire Air units
Elite MiGs Cannot Dogfight

Battle Fortress never Accelerates when Heavily damaged(yes it should be), but still cannot Accelerate too full speed even when repaired to full health
same applies to Masterminds (even though it rarely happens to me)

And I have a Question.

The Korean A. Carrier starts is built with initial Veterancy but originally the Vessels don't gain veterancy only the hornets. So even you gave a Carrier Initial Veterancy, it won't be able to reach Elite Status. Aren't you going to do something about this Mr. Speeder?

And in the soviet pause menu, the sidebar tabs and buttons still appear. Doesn't it look ridiculous?

Major Problem!!!! I downloaded the patch but it hasn't done anything!?! what should i do? the spy's still don't go into buildings but the patch is where its supossed to be....

I just wanted to let the creator and/or the team reponsible for designing this awesome mod know much I'm enjoying it! This mod really is a great enhancement and enrichment to Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge! I don't think I would ever be able to go back to the original version of the game again after playing this mod.


I love all the changes and additions, especially the redesigning of Yuri's faction.


I recently bought Red Alert 3, but I can honestly say I'm enjoying the Mental Omega mod a lot more. I've been playing it more often then RA3 the last week.



Awesome work! Thanks for creating and sharing this amazing mod with all the C&C Red Alert fans. :p

back with more bugs:

1. infector tanks cannot disable miners.

2. centurion loses or does not have his cloak detecting powers when elite.

3. tech power 1 in skirmish main menu does not work.

4. all epsilon missions except for 1 and 2 tell you that you need to repeat that completed mission.

suggestion: in soviet mission Red when you get to the out post, and if you get your migs destroyed you should be able to rebuild them

ill see if i can find more.

Yeah double post but who cares, back with more bugs

1. terror drones cannot parasite invisible units i.e shadow tanks ghost miners chizkoi cant do it also

editing suggestion: on soviet mission 4 dragon dance when you recieve the terror drones there is a line that says "yes these are the only units that transport there sneakly" should it be changed to quietly? because i dont think sneakly is a real word to me. :p

I'll see if i can find any more.

People should really get over the AI issues.

The AI engine is based upon RA1/TS i.e. scripted events.

Its not dynamic AI like more 3d rts.

Its based upon triggers e.g. time x amount of money, having a particular structure, etc. Which produces a fixed group of units doing a fixed set of actions e.g. kill all base defences including that patriot in the back of your base.

So to remove factories, means AI will always only have one factory (which is easy to stop) and so forth.

Trying to have balanced AI with the ai not cheating, is quite frankly impossible.

Also the AI blowing up civ buildings, walls, is a bug present in the old version of the game. Its happens a lot if AI is by White House on DC uprising as well.

Hi, congratulations to mental omega's author, you actually made something awesome.

i've found out a bug that i think none has reported yet.

soviet mission "A Play Of Two" can't be completed for an unknown reason, but i think its because of ghost miners, because even if you destroy all the buildings and units, the ghost miners are still there and cannot be found. :p

put the patches for mental omega , the chinese, and the most recent one into my RA2 folder and they dont work nothings changed at all i would appreciate the help

I have a bug report in 2.0psi patch 1...

Allied Mission 5 (one in Greece) autosave cannot be loaded... I tried playing the mission again and saved it. However, I cannot load it either...

I also had the same bug with the Apocalypse Tank where it started to crawl very slowly, but I noticed the cause of the problem. While moving the tank about, it started to crush my walls to get to its destination, as it WAS about to crush another wall section (the tank bumped up once), I directed it away. But then it started to crawl very slowly, I managed to fix the bug by making the Apocalypse Tank crush another wall section. From then on it started to move at normal speed again. This same bug can happen to the Battle Fortress too.

Hope this can help those who are experiencing the bug.

I too have the same problem as Tanya with the autosave of Allied Mission 5, whenever I tried to load it, it said something about a Swizzle error I believe (correct me if im wrong) then it exited to the desktop.

Please add new video resolutions to the game if posible, actually the game is streched in non-square screens as like as laptop screens.
These two new resolutions would be good:
1440x900
1280x800

Or similar resolution for non-square screens.

I started a Crate War, saved, went to grab some lunch, come back and loaded it.......then there are no crates at all. Possible problem? Or am I just really unlucky? ;)

Two very minor things.

The muzzle flash for the machine-gun IFV is a bit lower than where it should be.
Also, on the loading screen, No Dilemna is spelled wrong.

And something else that has been bugging me, and I know that its been mentioned before, and its the weird speed decrease thing, and because there weren't any walls anywhere, as mentioned by Nuclear Winter, I was wondering if there could be any other explanation for this.

And if Speeder could please fix this, if he found out how.

Because it doesn't just happen to apocalypse tanks.

um yes im having problems with the spys for all sides. it seem that i cant infiltrate buildings to get any of the stuff seen here


Barracks - All infantry will start with veteran status
War Factory - All vehicles will start with veteran status
Radar - Shroud will cover the whole map for the enemy
Power Plant - Power will be shut down for 2 minutes
Superweapon - Superweapon time counter will be reseted
Epsilon Research Lab - Player will get additional stealth technology
Soviet Battle Lab - Player will get additional tesla technology
Allied Tech Center - Player will get additional chrono technology

do anybody know why b/c to me it aint that fun with out doing any of these things
