Careful. This link is DANGEROUS. Do NOT click it. This one, however, is fine.

Mirkwood must have a kind of alliance with the woods-men of Mirkwood, allaince with the beornings is a good idea, but dispensable.

Why not give one of the dwarf heroes the summoning power and put the units in the mirkwood inn.

Yoda Likes The Empire more than The Republic :p

Mirkwood inn - put them there
Gloin says in The Fellowship of ring book that "Like Beorn, they aren't wery keen on dwarves" so beorings+dwarves=nothing

Again, this was my own translation from Finnish version :p

If you must put them in as buildable unit make them a mirkwood inn unit.

Mirkwood Inn is reasonable. I'm bored of endless unit summons. Round here, it's all "Let's summon the Variags!" and "Let's summon the Woses!" and it all gets tedious.

I don't like them either. I mean how the bloody hell do hobbits pop out of little puffs of smoke? I mean I can understand magical summons but even then that is real either

I read somewhere that S.E.E had a method whereby summons walked in off the map and stayed until they died, wouldn't this be a more appropriate method. As for the beornings, I don't mind giving grimbeorn a shot later on down the lines, attack anims should be easy for the bear I reckon

I would want Beornings, Woodsmen, and Grimbeorn as an innfaction for Mirkwood, there are already too many unit summons and making them trainable would be unbalanced.
