Also, I don't like the fact that the trebuchets destroy everything, including ally walls and units. It gets VERY annoying when my wall trebuchets are always destroying the other parts of my wall, not to mention any units I have in the area.
Overall, though, I like the mod very much. GREAT JOB!!!!!

AS for your siege weapons, you can set them on do not auto acquire and order them to attack when you see the enemy. It takes a bit more work, but it avoids friendly fire accidents.

I have used the auto accquire before. It is a drag. I don't think that the trebuchets should be allowed to damage friendly units. Is there any way that it can be changed?

Don't expect to be able to beat a brutal, very few people can 1v1 The thing that really makes the ai good is that they get every type of unit, whereas players tend to stick to 1-2 that they prefer. So while your 1-2 units may be good against some of the enemy's, there's a counter for them running right to your base. They get everything, including a lot more siege than they used to.

It's hard to keep the trebuchets in line. I had a fortress once with multiple walls. Every time the trebuchets got an enemy that was near one of the other walls, it kept knocking down my other walls. ANNOYING!!! Oh well.

The new maps are really well designed and fun to play on, and the new camera system just adds to that. A little difficult to find places to build structures on some maps, but that's no biggie.
I love the truckload of new units and heroes, I'm all for having more units and heroes, and as much as possible. Heroes being able to take knockback can be awesome or annoying or somewhere in the middle, depending on the situation. Watching Sauron, the Witch-king, or somebody similar sending those powerless heroes hurling through the air is quite fun. Watching a bombardment of rocks hailing down on you is both dangerous for your troops AND heroes. They no longer act like nothing is hitting them when getting hit by catapults or getting swung at by a mumakil. lol. Watching a troll, troll hero, etc., knocking down your hero, I go "oh crap, deathtrap, he's a goner." But I guess some reinforcements should be kept handy .
The new structures are very well done too, I especially like the lothlorien structures.
One of my favourite things about the mod is the improved AI. It is fun fighting a very challenging opponent. They've done a few things that I didn't quite expect, causing me to lose...quite a number of matches. I find that they use their powers more effectively, like scorching your army with the sun, summoning the balrog or dragon underneath or above your army, and using eagles to single out on your defenseless heroes. It may be just me, but I still find the AI doesn't use all their pp powers. I don't think I've ever seen the elves summon tom bombadil, or gondor upgrading their heroes, or mordor/goblins using call the horde, or the goblins summoning the balrog or dragon, like mordor and isengard do. Even if they might not use all their pp powers, the AI is challenging enough already! Excellent mod.

Finally someone else who likes this instead of bitching about heroes dying too much
As for powers, it takes a while to program the random variations. I think they pretty much only follow one path up the tree with a couple variations, but at least they actually use the tier four powers on you.
