I love the new AI, playing against mordor is really challenging, it spawned the balrog right in the middle of my army, and wiped 750 CP down to 7 within seconds. Great stuff

I haven't really got to play too much of the new release, but I must say to all the team that was involved with this Mod release, This mod is the best thing that has happened to this game. I know people who still play Starcraft to this day because of how good the game was. After this Mod is done, I know that people will still be playing this in 2015. Kudos to all of you!! :evgr:

As far as the other ideas posted here, I really like the knockback and splash damage effects. But, I also do know the frustration that Wanderer and others have expressed about a hero getting pwned. So, I am also for changing the Knockback to a percentage chance if possible. That way, we could have the best of both worlds.

I will post more likes and dislikes after i play around some more. :)

I would like to see a map of Minas Ithil, for an Arnor Faction, also I think the mod is done great, but could you add some powers for Aragorn : you could make two lists of powers(4 powers on each list and a switch to another list), I would add toggle sword/bow(Aragorn is a Dunadein so i think its reasonable to add this), mount/unmount, knife throw.
Would be greatful if add this powers, so Aragorn would have 8 powers, they would not make him too powerful I think)

8 powers? There aren't enough slots. Anyway, nobody needs half a million powers. Maybe those could go on the Three Hunters version of Aragorn...

I mean there must be a switch for two lists of powers(each list 4 powers)

This may just be map problem, but in every map ive played with this mod, when i give my army a move command, 1/3 of them go to the destination and the other 2/3 dont move. It gets impossible to win when the bulk of your army is waiting at your base.

I really love the New Living Campaign. Can't wait to see the finished product. I also can't wait to see the finished factions both for skirmish and especially, WotR mode.

Rob, um.. I know it's almost the end of April, but... I F##KIN' LOVE THE VAST IMPROVEMENT TO YOUR DOUBLE-FACTION! IT is the BEST FACTION IN ANY MODDER'S CHANGES. PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!

Hello again, one and all!

Well, to be honest, I can't think of anything that I don't like. This mod is simply astounding; it's hard to find the right word to even use for something like this, with all the time and effort that has been put into it by the team, Rob especially. :p

The elves are fantastic - now there's actually a reason to play as them! ;) And all of the new maps are breathtaking - Combe Valley, I have to admit, is a personal favorite. I like the new balance between calvary and archers, and I like the new earthier-looking skins for the dwarves. On another note, I like how the trees are enlarged in most of the new maps; that makes a huge - no pun intended - difference in the atmosphere, and just looks right.

Speaking of trees, that brings up one thought; would it be possible to change it so that certain cavalry units don't trample trees anymore? It seems kind of strange that you can use the KoDA and others to mow down entire forests in only a matter of seconds.... ;) It's especially wierd, though, when Tom Bombadil trampels his way through a forest!

Ok, firstly I'd like to say I am very sorry for the long overdue feedback on the mod: I downloaded 1.06 essentially the minute it came out :)
Secondly, I love this mod to death ;)
Now on to business;

I love the Rhun skeletal army stuff and what-not, the maps are dazzling and epic (I absolutely LOVE the Combe map TO DEATH!), the units are briliant, the art designs and stuff are amazing and everything is grand!

That's it for now.....consideirng I haven't played RJ 1.06 or BFME 2 in over two months! :)
But don't worry, I'm going to tomorrow....or someday....or something....

Oh yes.....THIS MOD PWNS THE EA CRAP!!!!!

After all this time, I decided I'd start playing BFME 2 again; after all, it's one of the few games I keep coming back to.....even three-four years after it was made.....
Anyway, my computer has been upgraded; it's just a graphics card, but it's a HD Radeon 4870. How's that for gaming love? I can run Crysis on high at 60fps, maybe at highest (I haven't checked) and the rest of my computer is still actually pretty good; so I'm happy.

Im a lover of footy now, and I can't wait to watch Jarryd Hayne the superhuman and Fuifui Moimoi the tongan bulldozer play in the Four Nations cup. WOOT Hindmarsh is gonna play for Australia now, even with a broken shoulder! Woot he's crazy.

I love the mod. The only thing I'm really missing is camera settings. I know it wasn't in the original game, but the camera setting for the default height should be customizable I think. I use a 26" monitor on 1920x1200. The problem I'm having is that the camera is set so close at 1920x1200, that I can only see the fortress and a small area around it. This is very annoying with such a large screen. I now use the Widescreen Enhanced Mod (WSE Mod) with RJ mod. this allows me to enjoy the RJ mod on a far better camera setting than the original mod. Downside is that the WSE mod only works for the original ROTWK maps, thus I can't enjoy the RJ maps.
The best sollution would be a camera height setting in the same file as the resolution setting. Problem is that the map files have individual settings, but perhaps it is possible to ad some code that says: check settings file for camera height.
Bottom line is: the mod is great, but custom camera setting would make it magnificent.

Building level upgrades should be reduced in price and research time to BFME2 1.06 levels. This would make it plausible to upgrade sometimes instead of just pumping more troops out. It would allow unused units like Siege Hammer Guardians to be more likely to be used.

Angmar can't combine troops. I know that the Thrall system poses problems, but maybe Snow/Hill Trolls, and Wolves, and Black Numenoreans could be able to combine. Wolves also do so insanely little damage that they aren't really worth getting.

I think Peasants ought to have their price reduced to 50 resources, instead of 100. They currently cost more than Goblin Warriors, and goblins are about 85 times as strong ;)

Can the circle of effect for the Angmar 5 pp spell Blight (I think that's the one; it's supposed to reduce resource structure output) be widened significantly? I think that this spell has potential, but it can currently only affect one resource building, and is kind of useless (unless you rush wolves, and realize that they don't do any damage to buildings, and have to give up trying to take one farm out, even though you've got three battalions :p Then it's good to use it on just one building).

1st off i love the Mod :p but it has a few annoying things. The buildings take wayyy to long to upgrade :dry: The Rhun archers health should be improved cause they die too easyly. Apart from that the Mod is fricken awesome ^_^ PS: Can't wait for Mirkwood!!

@ Zach: You shouldn't be buying upgrades for your buildings... you should be using them to produce troops since, as in BFME I, troop production adds experience to your buildings. They upgrade a lot faster that way, and you get troops in the bargain. :p

Well, the actual upgrade is usually faster and cheaper, but in a competetive game it's usually better just to buy units to upgrade the building.

I think this game is absolutely amazing, thanks to rj, yoda, shikaru and all the rest. I would like to see the return of elrohir and elladan as playable heroes, but also maybe unique ring heroes? Units look sweet! Elves rule!!!!!! Cant wait for 1.07!
