Nice! That was what I was looking for. Epic. ~Thumbs up~ How would those be released? Like, every five months or something?

'The Twilight of Man is nigh, and coming ever closer. The days have shortened into cold, forlorn darkness and sunrise to sundown is a bitter struggle for survival. But do not think for a moment that we shall not fight. We shall not go quietly into the dusk. We shall not throw down arms and flee, or surrender. We will go on, we will not falter. And even should we die, we shall make an end that will be remembered for thousands of years. For beautiful Arnor that is, for glorious Númenor that was! We are the Dúnedain, we are the Men of the North, and our foes will remember our steel!'

Nice. Makes a lot of sense. Best of luck to you guys, I hope this comes through well :D It'll be tons easier waiting for two months for an update than it is waiting for a YEAR XD

Go to War of the Ring, choose RJ War of the Ring, choose Gondor as your faction. In game, move the Fellowship into Moria.

@ Yoda: If you scrap knockback against heroes, and fix the lack-of-trample bug, how will I beat your Rohan? :)

I'm liking the alternative for picking up the ring and having some heroes use it. :) So far, I find it fun using the ring and having Gandalf and Aragorn's powers available and the eventual death of the wearer. :D

Non-linear campaing crashes when you enter Rivendell mission, I suppose because of new buildings & units. Or maybe just my computer argues with me

Just auto-resolve the Elves campaign maps until they can fix 'em. I played up until Helms Deep with both Rohan and the Fellowship, and it works fine. But you can't go further than Helms Deep.

Auto-resolving up until Helms Deep makes it much harder >.>;; You need a bunch of units or else you only have like, ten minutes to build a freakin' army.

I don't think Demolishers should recieve knockback. It's kind of absurd watching eight upgraded demolishers not be able to destroy a base because the opponent has Boromir and a catapult expansion. Seriously, how is Boromir supposed to knock back a giant battering ram?

Hi again...Some things I've been thinking of:
-MotE should be renamed to Evil Men, not all of them were from the east, as someone corrected me.
-While reading ROTK today, I read about the variags...are they in game? cannot remember, but they should.
-The knock back you were discussing about is realistic mesa thinks...I mean, if a troll hit you with a giant maze you wouldn't probably be able to stand up for a year. Killing the troll heroes, and even the troll units has to be done with strategy. (eg. having some archers shooting while your hero dodges the attacks).
-Again, while reading ROTK today, I remembered Ghan the wildmen of the forest who aid rohan scouting while they camped. Maybe adding a spell in the tree? used like farsight or the eye of mordor...revealing stealth of course, its good when gollum sneakes away...

Anyway this release is awesome, keep up with the good work.

I agree with the keeping of knockback against heroes for trolls, but my post regarding knockback is about massive machined rams--Dwarven demolishers. I don't think it is realistic that Boromir can knockback something that weighs at least two tons and had gigantic shields erected around it.

The point is that a good majority of the time your hero doesn't even have a chance to attack back or run away from the troll so its basically a death trap. And heores can't dodge yet as far as I'm concerned.

And the demolisher knockback is ridiculous

Hi again...Some things I've been thinking of:
-MotE should be renamed to Evil Men, not all of them were from the east, as someone corrected me.

Actually, they were named Evil Men before, but we figured we'd rename them to MotE as not all of the Evil Men (like the Dunlendings) were in the faction.

-While reading ROTK today, I read about the variags...are they in game? cannot remember, but they should.

They are, in MotE faction. They have a hero, a unit in the tavern, and more units are available through a summoning power in the spelltree.

True, although this thing is kinda hard to balance right.

-Again, while reading ROTK today, I remembered Ghan the wildmen of the forest who aid rohan scouting while they camped. Maybe adding a spell in the tree? used like farsight or the eye of mordor...revealing stealth of course, its good when gollum sneakes away...

Nice idea, could be implemented with something like that ye.

Anyway this release is awesome, keep up with the good work.

Thanks :crazed:
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

I didnt mean that your hero actually dodges...What I mean was clicking around and running away till ur archers kill it. If playing against a player that spams them ok, dunno what to do :crazed:

Edit: Oh yeh, I tried MotE last night and they had the Variags, Nice detail.

I'm in agreement with Wanderer - I'm all for the most realistic mod we can get but obviously things have been and will be sacrificed for balance and fun - having units that knockdown every hero %100 of the time isn't fun. I'm not certain but I'm pretty sure you're able to code in percentages, as in, chance of knockdown on units; if that's the case, I'd just suggest toning it down slightly, so a hero that a Troll is beating on, has some chance of escape.
