Did you set all exe files in the folder to run in administrator mode?Well i got this once i installed Mental Omega
Resise the window to smaller. If the window is too big, game will crash when your cursor touches the bottom bar. Or play fullscreen mode, if it works for you.Whenever I'm in the middle of a game, a pop up comes up saying there's a problem with the Main Executable for Mental Omega. This causes the game to crash.

I had a fatal error when I trying to finish a skirmish game (click here to download this file).
It's usually found on the string:
[20:07:08] SyringeDebugger::HandleException: Exception (Code: 0xC00000FD at 0x0065A878)!
[20:07:08] The process tried to write to 0x00092FFC.

I dunno how you did, but you successfully managed to corrupt your order - one of the units/buildings were ordered for an invalid action.
Oh yeah I get it. I hope it would be fixed in Revision 2 someday (Kinda lied).
It seems its not the error what I'm talking about, it seems an unexpected error happened in game, not to corrupt a order. It hung and tried to Alt-Tab the game and suddenly it crashed in-game.
It took me to restart my PC to prevent this for further matches.

I had mental omega working perfectly then it stopped working for some reason. I must have ended the main executable instead of quitting the launcher or vice verse. Now i can't get the game to start from the launcher. Every other executable I have for RA2 has stopped working as well. I would greatly appreciate anyone with knowledge on the problem I have.
After I was playing a game I had the launcher open and End tasked the main I believe. After changing any of the files I restarted my system to no avail. I tried reinstalling with MOsetup but I'm still stuck without a working game
Main Executables for yuri's revenge and others will appear on my task manager but i won't have a game appear.

Hi, I run on Windows 8 and my game will crash if I have played a game and then I start another game, both games being played before I've exited out of Mental Omega. It does this in Skirmish, Missions, multiplayer - anywhere. It does not seem to do this if I start up a game and then immediately quit and start another; the game will run fine in this situation. In Missions, however, nearly all of the time it will crash every second game. I'm guessing it has to do with the amount of stuff that has happened in a game going onto the next.
Also, another bug that occurs is if I alt + tab or minimize the game in some way and try to return to it, the game becomes a black screen and I have to close the program (not necessarily a crash).

1. a One game crash issue is common on win 8.1. You can fix it by updating Ares, however if you tend to play on multi its not suggested,
2. Afaik windowed mode works fine for win 8.1 users, so alttabbing will not cause any problems.

I tried the latest Ares version and it messed up a lot of the game sounds, just in single player, and if possible I'd like to know another solution to the black screen bug other than windowed mode if there is one

Hey. I have this issue a long time ago, just not found out the forums xD.
(This situation is on Skirmish only)
Every time I customize a battle, whenever I'm about to start, the game always crashes.
Same thing with trying to go and make another game another game; if I won/lost a battle, and try to go to another one, the game also crashes.
I always quit after I done my customizations, but it's bothering me that I have to quit and relaunch the game to go to another battle....
Any fixes??

if so that will always happen and you have to deal with it

-Crash to Desktop
First off, thanks for making a killer mod. I stumbled upon this and it's awesome.
In regard to my problems, every time I play the game it seems to crash. Sometimes it's within 5-10min, other times I may get to play for about an hour. Sometimes it seems to be triggered. For example, this time I went to use the "map generator" feature and the game crashed after attempting to generate a map for about 30 seconds. Usually the game will just crash back to the desktop/launcher mid-game for no apparent reason. This has happened in all the game modes I have tried, I have only attempted playing as the allied factions right now, and I don't think there are any in-game events which may have triggered the crash (that I'm cognizant of). I have attached the syringe.log file as requested. Thank you for any help you may be able to provide. Either way, thanks again for the taking the time to make this mod. Happy to see YR getting love from people so many years later.
