Allied Mecha Tengu/Jet Tengu (unique to Pacific Front)
Cost : $1100
Speed: 5.5 / 7
Hit points : 240
Armor: Light / Light Air
Prerequisite: Allied Airforce Command, Allied War Factory
Purpose: Anti-Infantry, Anti-Air
Equipment: Kinetic Autocannon (2x)
Range: 7 / 7
The Pacific Front is an Allied subfaction mostly consisting of countries in the Pacific Ocean. This alliance is spearheaded by the Pacific powerhouses known as Japan and Korea. Many revere them for trying to fight back communist China; but the former is usually treated with the most suspicion of all the Pacific nations. They have a point, considering Japan's history.
Before Japan became a U.S.A. ally, the Japanese, led by Emperor Yoshiro and his son Prince Tatsu, mobilized a fearsome army, consisting of near-fanatical fighters, equally fearsome mecha and war machines that if left unchecked, will conquer most, if not all, of the world. However, before they were ultimately defeated by the combined forces of the Allies and Soviets. The Emperor was assassinated quickly and his son was also killed; the culprits are still unidentified until now. The remaining Japanese quickly issued a formal surrender when they heard the U.S. will chronoshift a hydrogen bomb to completely annihilate their nation.
One of the technologies used by the Imperial forces is the Tengu. Developed by the late commander The Tengu is a versatile mech that can transform at will: a land-based anti-infantry mecha, or a quick, but deadly aircraft-destroying air mode. Their kinetic autocannons can pierce through both metal and flesh alike. However, they are terribly outmatched by enemy armor, and must not be sent against them.

Mecha Tengu only exist in the alternate timeline in RA3. Even the Empire

Flawless Unit to Unit Deploying isn't possible in Ares...yet.

Until it comes in it'd be very hard to do it. Land Tengu deploys into Aircraft Building ~~~ Aircraft Building undeploys into Aircraft Tengu ~~~ Aircraft Tengu deploys into Land Building ~~~ Land Building Undeploys into Land Tengu

I didn't say the Tengu can transform into buildings.

Thats the only way you can get it to work atm as Ares doesn't have Unit-to-Unit Yet.

Alright.
The suggestions that I make aren't instantaneous (some of the can't be implemented by now, and I don't say these should be made immediately) ; I know some of them will take time.
(Never thought of that while making them, but good point.)

I have a suggestion for some missions. I really like the heros you created for the subfactions. But in the campaign you do not see them much. I had an idea for some special missions. I call it Hero origins. There would be 9 of them. Every one of them tells about the story and origin of the heroes.  For example the Hero Origin about Libra could be how Yuri and his Psicorp found her or got to know her. Or the mission about Morales could be about his first assasination mission. And a mission about the life and experiments of Siegfried. The Malver one about himself, Rashidi, and Scorpion Cell. And I could go one. It would be fun if these kind of missions could be implemented.

I'd really like to be able to tweak the rules, but I can't get a substitute rulesmo.ini/rulemo1.ini to be accepted. As a suggestion I'd like to see user modding opened up.

This was done in order to protect assets from being ripped, as a large part of it was either made exclusively for Mental Omega, or we paid money in order to use them, and thus can't have them available to the public.

Which is understandable. But at the very least the rules.ini notepad file would be nice to have. I'd like to make the missions a bit easier for myself.

I concur, for learning and educational purposes, just a rules file can be very helpful.

I definitely don't want to make an RA2 mod. I'd just prefer to make Mental Omega slightly easier to play for myself and to make it so I can breeze through the campaign that the Mental Omega team created on a easier difficulty.

Past versions of mental omega had the rulesmd.ini available. It's how I beat the campaign of Mental Omega 2.0.

The unexplained crashes when playing online are easily explainable too, just make sure you have the default rules.ini before playing online. That simple ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Expanding on the SteelClad crawler gameplay: You don't build MCVs. You have at the start of a game, a ultra-large Crawler-like unit (this works like Einstein's Heroic Dragon Bus, but can build generic defenses, infantry and units instead of heroes.) That unit, when deployed, can also build up to three mini-crawlers which focus on offense, defense and support, respectively. (Those three mini-crawlers also unlock certain defenses, infantry and units.) Each mini-crawler comes with their own mini-refinery in which has Excavators. (has the most ore space and armor of all harvester units, but unarmed and very slow)
Three commandoes, three superweapons.

The concept here is "Less is more." They don't spam units, but they prefer small groups that can gain more experience than the rest.

Epsilon Creeper Toxin Drone (unique to SC)
Cost: $400
Speed: 8
HP: 90
Armor:Light
Prerequisite:Epsilon War Factory
Purpose: Anti-Infantry, Anti-Armor
Weapons: Toxin Detonator
Range: 2

Scorpion Cell is known to favor quantity over quality on the battlefield, building numerous forces which are designed to overrun their foes. This minute machine, called the 'Creeper' Drone is just one of them. Controlled by Scorpion operators, they can get near hostile soldiers and tanks, detonate their toxin bombs, poisoning enemy infantry and eating away the armor of tanks. However, due to the so-so quality of the materials that make up Creeper drones, they are even more fragile than Confederation Imp Drones.

QUOTES: (They are remote drones, controlled by operators from a distance. the operator is talking. They have sneaky voices, which are like the Minecraft creepers)

New epsilon: Terminus Group.

After Yuri had formed HQ on the Arctic, he needed another offensive division besides Psicorps and Scorpion Cell.

In the area of Terminus gas there was not many research besides the Dreamweaver and the Rage Inducer.

So Yuri chose his best researchers, scientists and some troops and sent them to South America, because the variation in climates is useful for research. This division was called the Terminus Group. Arriving in South America, they encountered resistance from the Latin Confederation. Now they needed to build an arsenal of their own.

The subfaction is aimed at units, which are fast and strong, but not great armor, but average health not like Scorpion Cell. Some of these units can use Terminus to increase their speed and rate of fire but it costs some of their health. And in cooperation with Rashidi, the Terminus Group has modified the standard Stinger with a Terminus sprayer. Now it is called the Chaos Stinger.

This was just an idea of a subfaction for Epsilon, because Epsilon does not have a faction based around Terminus gas.

Name: Epsilon Monolith

Type: Heavy

Cost: $1,700

Weapon: Laser (like yuri statue)

Description: It is basically just the head from the Yuri Statue exept it is floating, in english a floating yuri head. it floats about as high a a robot tank.

also, for all yuri factions the...

Name: Gattling trooper

Type: Anti-air/Anti-infantry

Cost: $700

Weapon: Gattling Cannon

Description: As itsays a soldier weilding a gattling gun, every other team has and anti-air based unit off of the AA defense building, why not Yuri?

"PARA!"

Pacific Front Jeepney

Cost:700

Armor:Light

Speed: 8

Weapons: M2 Browning Machine Gun/Food Vendor

Hitpoints:200

Prerequisites: War Factory (Replaces Robot Tanks for Pacific Front)

Additional Info:

- Opentopped

- Can Fire on the move

- Level 0 Passenger Survivability

Rookie (0%) - Veteran (25%) - Elite (50%)

- Heals nearby Infantry

The Jeepney is a replacement of the Robot Tank for the Pacific Front. Armed with the same Light Machine Gun as the Humvee the Jeepney also doubles as a Light Armored Transport. Jeepney Drivers are totally loyal and gnarly bro's rendering them immune to mind control. The Jeepney can hold up to 12 Passengers due to the ingenuity and gun-ho attitude of drivers though this does cause the transport to be considerably cramped lessening the chances of survival. Passengers can fire out of the sides of the Vehicle and do awesome opentopped action woop woop. Each Jeepney is always stationed with Snack Vendors. A Local Food Vendor. Employed by the Allied Forces to provide rations to nearby infantry. Favorites of the Infantry include Pork Rind Crackers, Deep Fried Quail Eggs in flour, Fishballs or the occasional Local Delicary Balut.

This unit replaces the Navy Seal for Pacific Front

When China invaded Japan, they also invaded the Philippines to secure the US naval bases to make sure that no Allied naval support interfered with the invasion of Japan. Afterwards the Chinese set up prefects across the the Philippines to control the masses. Many pinoy citizens were angry of the cruel treatment and had many peaceful protests about it, all of them were either suppressed or disbanded out of fear. What got the most attention was the Quiapo Black Nazarene Massacre. The massacre was the result of a large mass of citizens attending the Black Nazarene Mass. The Chinese thought that the Mass was a protest being covered up by a peaceful gathering. The Chinese warned the citizens to disband immediately, only to have them stand there disobediently. That was when excessive brute force came in. Many of the citizens threw rocks at the conscripts telling them to leave them alone, only to be gunned down in return. The local prefect gave orders to gun down every participant there, to show the rest of the Philippines that they will not tolerate disobedience. Hundreds of men, women, elderly, and even children, were shot. This was the straw that broke the camel's back. Afterwards, multiple riots spread around like wild fire, with rumors of a large group of armed freedom fighters are aiding anyone who is willing to fight back. The freedom fighters will eventually become known as the Kalayaan.

The Kayalaan was at first a small group of fighters, but then gained a large amount of members soon after the massacre. Their largest scene was when they raided a large Chinese occupied US arms cache, allowing them to wield M16A4 rifles that are highly effective against infantry, under slung grenade launchers to deal with light vehicles, and best of all, C4 charges that can demolish any building or bridge with one charge. During this time, the surviving US forces that were trapped in the Philippines during the invasion decided to fight back. A midst the chaos and riots, the remaining Americans fought back along side the Kalayaan at the confounded Chinese forces and won. With the Philippines secured, many of the Kalayaan decided to leave home and fight alongside the Allies against China and their allies to ensure that no one will invade the Philippines ever again, with many more Kalayaan being trained for the sake of freedom.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In a short summary:

The Kalayaan is just a name and visual replacement for the Navy Seal, but comes in with a deploying grenade launcher that can deal good damage against light vehicles, but bad against tanks. The word Kalayaan means "freedom" in Filipino.

The suggestion was subtle joke at the recent suggestions for a Filipino-based Unit for the PF to be honest and a subtle reference for my own WIP Unit in my own Mod. Its hard to find a suitable niche replacement unit for the PF atm actually from what I can tell. Each Faction has plenty units unique to their own already. The one I could really imagine getting in is probably a Jumpjet Infantry (One that can land like in TS) and is armed with a Cryo Rifle and C4 Charges. And then the PF would have it combining the roles of the SEAL (Flight instead of Swimming and Anti-Bridge/Buildings) & Rocketeers (Anti-Air & Anti-Infantry Capability)

I'm new in the forums, first post, aaaaaaaaand I'm cringing a bit at the suggestions, partly due to the fact I'm a "Filipino" reading the quoted replies.  I'll take it as a compliment even though I'm cringing.

My suggestion for a Euro Alliance replacement of the SEAL(Yes I read the Ghost part but I think someone should do a voice-over for this unit).

Name: SAS Commando
Cost: $800-$1000

Hitpoints: 110
Speed: 5.5 to 6.5

Armor Class: Flak

Prerequisite: Allied Barracks, Air Force Command HQ

Purpose: Anti-Infantry, Long Range Support

Equipment: HK MP5SD Submachine Gun, Accuracy International L96 Sniper Rifle

Range: 6.5(SMG)/14(Sniper, better range than Virus like in Vanilla YR, but a tad weaker than that of Morales)

This unit replaces the Navy SEAL for Euro Alliance.

The SAS Commandos are Britain's most elite soldiers, and the counterpart of the United States' Navy SEALs.  Unlike their American counterparts, they have served since World War II engaging in various operations since that time.  Now the SAS Commandos are part of the Euro Alliance's Special OPS squad with additional training received in France and Germany. They are also trained in various weaponry but their preferred weapons is the MP5 SMG for most ground threats and when deployed, the L96 is used to take out long range targets.  Also when in Sniper mode, they can call on a Harrier jet to take out any enemy units or structures with decent damage, assuming there are no Anti-Air defenses around the target.

Additional Information:

Amphibious

Can detect submerged and cloaked units(Sensors Range: 7)
Can deploy into stationary sniper mode
Cannot deploy into sniper mode on water.

My inspiration for this is the fact that the the Sniper in Panic Cycle can deploy, so why not show some love for the Sniper by returning it in the form of a SAS Commando ;).

For Pacific Front I suggest 3 replacements

SAS Commando(Australian Voice)
SSOF Trooper(Singaporean SOF, Singaporean voice)
Kaijo Heishi(Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force soldier)

Feel free to suggest the appropriate info for the three. lol

Shirayuki Battleship

Cost: $2500 or $3000

Speed: 5.5

Hitpoints: 1100 or 1200

Armor Class: Heavy

Prerequisite: Allied Naval Shipyard, Tech Center

Purpose: Siege

Weapon: 'Izanagi' Cryo-Enhanced Bombardment Cannons

Range: 21

This unit replaces the Aircraft Carrier for Pacific Front

While Euro Alliance and USA use aircraft carriers as their capital ships, the leaders of the Pacific Front refused to do so. They had decided to upgrade the old battleships from the previous wars with their cryo technology which brought 'Izanagi' Cryo-Enhanced Bombardment Cannons as a result. These cannons are capable of firing cryo-enhanced shells from afar, dealing much more damage against structures and units than ordinary battleship cannons. Nothing is perfect, though, as the Shirayuki has some drawbacks. Due to the limited time given to the upgrades, these monsters are released with only few successful upgrades on its weaponry and armor. Heavier than other ships, also means that these units are slower than most naval units. These units also have fairly inaccurate shots because of their upgrades only on their cannons and not their targeting systems, moreover, they have slower rate of fire and large minimum range due to the origin of their weapons.

The 'Shirayuki's, however, have proven their superiority on naval battles, since their projectiles are impossible to destroy before impact, and heavier armor provides them the capability to withstand more damage compared to aircraft carriers. Even so, sending Shirayuki units to the battlefield alone is not a good idea since faster units and aircrafts are proven to be their most dangerous threat, and it's almost impossible for these units to flee once they are surrounded by enemy units.

*Just my opinion, though... but i really hope this could be implemented in the next update because i miss the battleships

The old battle ship is removed because the shells is unintereceptable, so I doubt it.

Now if only we have a small battleship that can act as a replacement for destroyer..........why not?
