A buff to the Tesla Cruiser? I feel its preety underwhelming against other T3 tanks.

Perhaps more stealth oriented unit/structure/power for HQ? Only 1 unique stealthed unit feels like not enough.. Some thoughts:
1. unique shadowring power for HQ, more duration or AoE than normal shadowring.
2. unique chimera core, more radius or can cloak structures.
3. stealthed stalker (most likely a nope).

If you ever played older versions of MO you would know that cloaking buildings makes the game unplayable, that thing lags like hell.
Stealth Stalker is blegh but the 1st one is cool.

A new gamemode, featuring an attack of the beetles. You pick a faction, and you get their hero to fight against the hordes of the beetles (Yunru gets a tesla weapon and the Earthbreaker stuns beetles, Malver has no portable Chimera core, a longer range, and faster speed). Beetles come from all directions of the map, and you must survive for as long as you can.
New enemies:
Warrior Beetle - The normal beetle that you find in the MO game files, albeit with its weapon downgraded severely to prevent an Insta-kill attack. Little bit slower than normal, with comparable armor to a medium tank. These are the main beetles you will be fighting. Beware of their bite.
Bombardier Beetle - Beetle with a ranged chemical weapon that reduces armor by 15% (doesn't stack, though, unless you want to be very cruel). Slow, and has low-medium health, so an ideal tactic is to go on a cliff to combat it. But, don't get close to it when it's about to die - it'll blow in a chemical cloud.
Tesla Beetle - Beetle with a tesla shock weapon. Relatively fast, with medium health, and can fire on cliffs from the bottom (somewhat). When killed, a burst of electrical energy is released in the cells around it - healing Volkov but damaging the other heroes.
Atomic Beetle - Suicide beetle that explodes in a blast of atomic radiationy goodness. Slow, with medium health, but never underestimate it. They come with escorts, and more than a few come in waves.
Delirium Beetle - Beetle armed with a concoction of chemicals that essentially do the same thing as Epsilon's chaos gas. Medium speed, with low health (exposed sacs of chemicals weaken them and provide an ideal path into the insides of the beetle). The chemical concoction also damages units slightly. You would be very wise to eliminate these first, as they explode and cover the nearby area in chaos gas, causing aggression between ants.
Occasionally, in maps, players will receive or find reinforcements. They can be a few apocalypse tanks, a couple aircraft (if you found a tech airfield) or some people struggling to survive with jury-rigged vehicles.
I'll edit this if I think of some good ideas.

I can already see endless kiting trollness with Libra. But ants aren't as much fun to exterminate as hordes of conscripts.

Maybe that can be another gamemode. Just replace the beetles with dozens and maybe hundreds of soviet infantry. But in this gamemode, I envision that some heroes and buffed and some are nerfed. Norio, for example, would walk instead of flying.

What's this mania with the beetles nowadays? We have already said that we won't feature boybands in MO3. Oh wait, that is the Beatles. Besides why do you want to see gigantic insect things.
It is MO's destiny

I guess I should just stop making progress on Colony Wars. A mod totally originally based on adding a Bug Faction if people are just gonna ignore me.

This is probably closely guarded by Speeder and MO team, but are the Soviets and Epsilon army's going to get a dedicated air force like the Allies in Mental Omega 2.0?

No... not directly. In BR2 they can get fixed wing aircraft if they capture a Tech Airport, but not more than that.

A bizarre idea of an infantry for Epsilon Army.
Banshee (all Epsilon)
Cost: $350
Speed: 9
Hitpoints: 85
Armor Class: Basic
Prerequisite: Epsilon Barracks, Radar Spire
Purpose: Cursing vehicles
Weapon: Subatomic particles
Range: Close
The Epsilon Army not satisfied in just manipulate the mysteries of mind decided to go a step further by exploring the branch of metaphysics. In this sense bastard minds have created an experimental way of transferring an human consciousness to a new material body. Initially was tried to transfer the mind of a man in a terminal state of life to another intact dead body, but the project was a failure. Later with new scientific advances related to quantum physics it was possible to create a new 'atomic body' to receive the human mind.
Most candidates for the new technique are psychotic soldiers and other monsters of the Epsilon mortally wounded in combat; then before the end the mind is extracted and inserted into a new body made of pure energy - the atomic body. The result of this process is a bright orb of energy with the vague facial configuration of its ex-human form in the center of orb; strangely significant parts of this human identity as intellect, rationality and personality of yore is gone and what remains is just a sick melancholy desire for revenge against their war enemies; for this reason the new entity became known as Banshee - the mythological evil fairy that precedes the end of man's life.
The Banshee does not have a material body of flesh and bones, for this reason has several immunities, however is still very susceptible to other types of attacks caused by conventional weapons. Moves quickly - even on aquatic surfaces due the ability to levitate - which increases the versatility. Against enemy vehicles Banshee can infiltrate inside causing that the machine receive serious curses related to its combat performance; after motors overheating and electrical/electronic components present problems of malfunction the vehicle has an decrease on its speed and attack range. The only effective mean to neutralizing the Banshee after an invasion is to use an repair vehicle to destroy the evil fairy - as in the case of Soviet Terror Drone. Against infantry and structures Banshee is completely harmless.
* Immune to poison.
* Immune to radiation.
* Immune to dog attacks.
* Amphibious.
* Cannot be crushed by normal vehicles.
* Invasion decreases target's speed and range by 50%.
* Immune to mind control & chaos.
Design notes:
* Cosmetically the Banshee would be a simple orb of light that does not touch the ground.
* After invading a vehicle an animation of particles involve the infected vehicle - representing the effect of the 'curse'.
* The Banshee's personality is female in the game.

The idea was in fact based on the Banshee and the Whisper of Warcraft.

Suppressors already do a better job as a support unit by decreasing the firepower, armor and speed stats by 40% of a small clumped group of not only vehicles/ships but infantry as well. The Banshee is basically a cheaper and weaker version of the Suppressor but with immunity to poison and radiation which isn't much. Besides why would you need a units that weakens the stats of enemy vehicles as Epsilon when all you need is Brutes which are the bane to most vehicles.

idk the idea just seems far too fantasy. Maybe if it was a sentient brain in that orb being a high tech container. Something akin to the Demiliches in DnD who were just floating skulls who casted magic.
And Suppressors are a Stolen Tech Unit so a unit that's naturally able to apply the debuff is only currently available with Malver.
