Hey Mathijs,

Your Dunlanding chieftain model is great I wasnt expecting to see Ragnar for the face to be honest :D

In your description for him which you have posted here you say after the victory at Fords of Isen he decides to join Isengard. Well what about making his adding to Isengard like Khamûl for Mordor? Unlocking through spellbook with a summonable building called Dunlanding encampment? You can recruit Wulfgar and better Dunlanding warriors from that building. I dont know just a suggestion.

Hello people!

Misty Mountains is great right now but I have some suggestions to make it greater.

Unit suggestion: Goblin spearmen.
Spear unit for early game cheap and like other goblin units weak.

Troll catapult and The Great Earth eaters are not in game for this release I think.

Since the caravans are mobile, why not give players more of an incentive to move them around by having units only be able to equip themselves when within a radius of the caravan. Otherwise, why would players not just horde them in the safety of their own base? It would also add another stand out characteristic to Haradwaith.


I am all in for this idea dude it sounds cool :)

- Btw, i have a suggestion to differentiate the Black Uruks and Variags to a more meaningful degree; Black Uruks would no longer gain Heavy Armor and Forge Blades, but they would receive the Vanilla Blood Thirsty ability in which they can eat an allied horde to gain XP. Thus they'd level up faster than the variags but the variags would still be viable due to the upgrades. Also i'd limit the total amount of Morgul Orc hordes which can be trained to 5 or 6.

- Also i'd suggest reducing the Black Uruks build cost from 500 to 400. Their just not worth 500 resources.

Well tbh I didnt like this suggestions. Why Morgul orcs should be limited in your opinion? Black uruks of Mordor elite orcs of Sauron and they can get upgrades I am okey with that why remove upgrades? Lowering their cost is a good idea :D
As a beta tester i'm suggesting this based upon how i feel the balance is, in the version which i'am testing.

Well Mordor should be close to OP and it makes sense to me to have OP Mordor if you consider they can gather an army mix of different warriors from different corners of Middle Earth. Morgul orcs and Black uruks are better trained and armed orcs their upgrades important because of this. And if you limit them in numbers you limit the horde style gameplay of Mordor. Because only heroic units get limited numbers in this mod. I am against every limitations except heroic units.

Mordor and Gondor have their own subfaction-like summoned citadels right now. What about Misty Mountains? Maybe adding Gundabad fortress we saw in film will fit to the faction and moving Bolg as recruitable hero to that building instead of a Azog's summon. And of course to provide units I have 3 units suggestion

1) Gundabad Guards: That pike using orcs we dont had chance to see them fight. Elite pike units limited in number maybe?

2) Gundabad berserkers: We saw them running in front of the army and only units we saw fighting on Raven Hill. Glass cannon unit with high damage and low armor.

3) Gundabad war bats: Actually you had them in SaF mod so it doesnt need any explanation :)

As a final touch level 10 ability for Bolg: "Call the legions" That epic call Bolg did on a rock at Gundabad fortress scene in the film :)
