Let me rephrase it:
PsiCorps is a faction with emphasis on offensive early game and defensive lategame. Saying that PsiCorps lacks offensive options is just not right, because up to T2 they are purely offensive, their T3 puts more emphasis on defensive or deathball strategies. They are the middle ground between HQ's defensive and SC's offensive playstyle.
I would also kindly remind you, that many of the T3 siege units can't outrange T3 defenses and Epsilon has Basilisk for such cases. So saying that PsiCorps lacks offensive power just because the Magnetron can't outrange T3 defenses is definitely wrong, because it wasn't supposed to do that at the first place.
Mastermind can wreak havoc in enemy armies if micromanaged properly. It isn't a purely offensive unit nor a purely defensive one, it can fill either role depending on the use. Even Gehenna isn't purely defensive unit, because it can harass air units as well.
Also let's not buff a faction, which some people consider OP, due to the highly effective strategies it has.

Mental Omega has its own history. It may have taken elements from the story of Red Alert 2, but I wouldn't really say that it is a parralel to it.

1. The defenders got scared and defected, there were also remnants of the Whites in that region.
Wait... Whites? Being pals with the Reds? After the Russian Civil War, numerous purges from Lenin and then to Stalin that would rolfstomp a great majority of the Whites during the time period; both through brute force to deception, and the extremely opposed ideologies and hostilities between the two forces (and the 'Whites' between themselves but that is another issue).
Maybe the Gulags do solve everything (except self esteem), an ineffective mind control technique that was tested on them, and Premier Romanov using a bastardized version of a Soviet-Monarchy that appealed to these loose remnants in a 'special way', or all the above. I'm not ruling the story out entirely, I just think it was more simpler to state that they are cowards and traitors that did not put faith into an inevitable victory against the invasion from the Pacific Front. It is still interesting story though.
Most of the whites fled Russia after Lenin and Trotsky won the civil war and repelled the intervention forces. They knew quite well what was coming for them. As far as I know the white symphatizers were mostly legitimists and were among richer of the society at that time.

You have to destroy the enemy forces in Think Different, because otherwise the Chinese will discover the treachery.
In Shipwrecked, the main goal is to destroy the base which constructs the Aircraft Carriers.
In Panic Cycle you have to destroy the enemy forces, because they are threatening for the laboratory and the chronosphere.
Story wise these are necessary.

Hello everyone!
I'm here to show a walkthrough to Singularity on mental and in BR2. Well Singularity was always considered the hardest mission, but I always found it entertaining. I have completed the mission so many times. The current Singularity is even harder on mental, because there are more hazards, on the other hand it has become easier on easy. But easy was too easy for me so I tried the mental. After 3 attempts I finally recorded the video.
One more thing, there will be a sudden switch at around 58mins, because my Battle Fortress glitched (kept attacking one point and refused to attack the Dragonfly which EMPed it), so I eliminated it with Malver and went back to get another Battle Fortress (Battle Fortresses respawn in BR2) and I cut out the backtracking part.

There is no brainwash on the Scorpion Cell. Rashidi is a terrorist and Yuri contacted him. They help each other wherever they can. Some missions and coops have to do with Scorpion Cell, like Scrapyard and Retaliation, where the Scorpion Cell forces want the Americans to leave their territories. Furthermore Rashidi created the Epsilon MCV, the Driller APC etc. which Yuri can use. Their goals are similar so they allied and cooperate with each other. Everything else will be revealed in Act 2.
