"To know what question we may reasonably propose is in itself a strong evidence of sagacity or intelligence. For if a question be in itself incongruous and begs for uncalled-for answers, it holds, sometimes, besides embarrassing the proposer, the disadvantage to seduce the unguarded listener into giving absurd answers, and we are presented with the ridiculous spectacle of one (as the ancients said) milking the he-goat, and the other holding a sieve beneath."

Hello,
I used to play this game for the Xbox 360 before the servers were shut down and I decided to try and get it set up on PC. I followed the guide exactly although when I try to start the game it stops responding after the logo comes up. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it as well.
EDIT: Nevermind, I should've read the whole post. I was missing options.ini and that fixed it.

Unknown block 'rSettings'
Error parsing INI block 'rSettings' in file 'Data\INI/Defaut\SubsystemLgendeExpension1.ini'.
I have after that "7 adresses"
Do you know that? :o Do you have some issues for me. :o
P.s.: I tried your option.ini. It doesn't seem to be the problem. :o

Did you install a mod? Did you try a complete reinstall after uninstalling and deleting your %appdata% bfme directory?

By the way, the BFME1 patch all in one installer has been updated to also install the fix for widescreen users.
Merry christmas

Hey guys I am sure this has been brought up before and I have looked in the comments to see and Ik the links were fixed at least once, but I can not for the life of me to get daemon tool the original link working. It says I need local administrative privileges each time I try. I will never give up hope though, I will not die until I get to play this game again haha. BFME for life

Which link exactly is not working? The daemon tools link seems to be just fine, but you will need admin rights to install software on your computer.
Check again, and if you still can't get it to work you might want to try alcohol52% instead.

Neither Alcohol 52 and 120 work with my system and the Daemon Tools link will not work either. Was able to install game with WinCDEmu, but am unable to run game without disc and I don't think it will allow me to 'mount' the mini-image .rar file.

This is kind of a thing.. but WB crashes when loading bfme 2 patch 1.08.

Patch 1.08 does not work with Worldbuilder. And it adds nothing new that I am aware of, so you can turn the fan patch off when using Worldbuilder.

Just throwing this out there, 1.08 and 2.02 aren't compatible, is that the issue?

They are, but partially.
Before 2.02 release 4.0.0 (I think?), RotWK would crash if 1.07/1.08 was enabled, and the crash window would complain on elements that exist in BFME2, but not RotWK (such as UPGRADE_TREESTART). Newer 2.02 releases have dummy replacements for those so it doesn't crash, but the game still checks the BFME2 folder, so people who have 1.06 enabled aren't compatible online with people who have 1.08 enabled (even replays and maybe saved games are grayed out if this is different).
Hence, if you want to play RotWK against others, switch to BFME2 1.06.
As for njm1983's error, you likely aren't running the game as administrator, which would prevent the creation of Options.ini in the AppData folder.
