yes but you just expect us to have war factories and so on...

At this point everyone should stop taking him seriously.

HOW THE FUCK DO YOU PLAY SKIRMISH WITHOUT WAR FACTORY??

There should be a "challenge accepted" in there somewhere :D

Elusive peace, arctic circle are easy without any WF :D
I won many times with only ships (and scout units to detect cloaked stuff).

The official website still calls the Allied superweapon the Weather Control Device, though this is changed to Weather Controller in the cameo, in-game and some mission info (e.g. Paranoia).

We still call it WCD, and it's barely any difference really

Speeder explaining how to play Scorpion Cell

Spoiler

Everyone seems to be arguing over how Yunru came into such a position of power,

yet nobody is willing to explain how Rahn's weapon is able to teleport a pair of shorts.

This should be at the meme forums.

For arandomperson, I'll just say what I think to your suggestions.
The buffs you want are really unneccesary. Even in PvE, your base should have a combination defenses and units.
Simple as that. (I'm not a pro nor an expert either)

Maybe it should, but my point is still Valid.

I am also going to state that a "Mode Switchy" thingamadoozit on Buratinos is probably going to make them OP

in the sense that nobody is going to use the inaccurate mode and they're going to eat defenses like wallbuster.

They're going to be better than Prism Tanks in every way and cost less

I'd like to point out that a very big reason why static defences are viable at all in PvE is that the AI will often completely ignore them and try to attack units - even if said units are well hidden behind the defences.

Of course! Static defences are actually one of the great things you can use against AIs. But from what I read on his post and understood, he kept losing his static defences to siege units (and aircraft). So I commented out that dealing with such units would also require other units (like Athena's rips your Hammer defenses, so you'll react by defending with Foxtrots or Rhinos or Kirovs with Teratornz and SODAR). Also, against spies, awareness is needed unless your a Foehn commander that spams grids to buildings since defences doesn't attack it automatically.

Don't get the wrong idea, I'm just pointing what he should be doing rather than requesting such buffs..

Since the nerf of seal IFVs occurs in 3.3.4, there is one thing I really wish to return and that is RA2 Rocketeers ( can be nerfed a little ). The current Rocketeers are just too weak and their best job is to scout in pvp . I know a huge number of them could actually kill things but it’s almost impossible to spam enough of them for viable damages and those money can also be used for better options as well . Imo , the price decrease still won’t get them to be used so much.

Can we add a little rocket to rocketeet? The damage can be minimal, just to give him a proper anti-armor weapon. Maybe then it will feel a little less laughable (price increase might be a good idea if we do this though).

Also, Why the rocketeer don't has the auto-regen all other air units have? That and his somewhat short range is what makes him the weakling he is today.

Well. Instead of continuing the arguments and so on. Here's a feature I wouldn't mind

Centralized music. A setting you can toggle on/off in the settings, its meant to allow any major faction to have their music be able to play when playing something specific, like foehns music when playing an allied faction... Just as an individual setting for each client... Just something I wouldn't mind. Dunno about you people but I reckon it would be cool to be able to select a different factions music when playing instead of having to actually play that faction.

Just a question but, is the chronosphere working right? Cause... I don't know how its meant to work here, does it work like the original version in Yuri's revenge? Or is it different?

Ares is not capable to do such toggleable feature yet.

And yes, it is working and it works just like the original one. Why?

This is a great point

I would argue bringing back ra2 rocketeers with no nerfs would still not be too broken.

The main thing that people oppose ra2 rocketeers in MO is because of their damage to buildings. However, even back in vanilla ra2, rocketeers still get almost completely shutdown by any sort of anti air base defense, and I can't see anything different in MO. MO also have t3 anti air which will shut down rocketeers even harder.

however, if ra2 rocketeers are brought back then they need to cost $600 again just like in vanilla too

This is not true. Unlike the original, the Chronosphere's ability in MO:

  • Does not affect nor kill infantry.
  • Does not affect amphibious transports (Voyager, Zubr etc), as well as epic units like MADMAN and Centurion.
  • Does not affect enemy vehicles.

Back in vanilla RA2 flak weapons dealt AoE damage, and one flak cannon could shut down a big swarm in no time. In MO flak weapons are almost pinpoint accurate just like other AA weapons (except Sentinels and Colossi), which is why dealing with wolfhound and pteranodon spam is problematic at times.

Sorry if it's off topic, but can you replace some of the songs of the ost using xcc utilities? I remember doing it for Yuri's revenge, but I know this mod uses a different theme.mix file.

Yes you can. The mod's mix uses some obfuscating techniques to prevent (easy) editing with xcc mixers, but still possible if [you-know-how]

You'll need to define new Thememo.ini if you don't use the exact same file name of the musics in the edited mix files
