- Add bomb defuse missions like in RA1.

This is more of a question than a suggestion really, I'm a pretty casual fan without an in-depth understanding of all the units or competitive balance so forgive me if this is a question with an obvious answer. :)

 

After looking through the units pages for the four factions I'm wondering why there isn't a unit similar to the Siege Chopper in concept. (Unless I missed one?) I thought that the trade off between being able to reach favorable positioning while flying and highly mobile on the one hand and having to be grounded and risk being vulnerable while deploying/undeploying in order to siege on the other created interesting tactical applications. Was that a bad idea because of balance or what?

 

I had fun with Siege Choppers and I would like to use something with the same basic idea, a flying artillery unit that needs to deploy in order to siege.

Vultures had deploy function in 3.0 which made them use smoke cannon which decreased damage of enemies but (PvE) players complained its useless and it sadly got removed.

I was wondering why foehn power plants seems to be stronger so i decided to make a fast comparison. The result: can´t undertand why their power plants have this amount of health, sure foehn power takes longer to build but it provides 500+ and foehn refinery is cheaper so it is not a problem. Also their cost efficency is better (1,6 times better) I´m missing something?

Well lore wise, the Foehn doesn't had the resources and their power plant is both efficient and costly.

 

Anyways, I just watch some Red Alert 2 loading screens and saw this Eureka that the devs NEED to put.

As you can see in the Allied side, that in the loading screen shows the map detailing the progress of the war. Soviets are obviously red and Allies are blue... Why not the devs do this???

Well, it's efficient, but when you hit one and your Foehn player doesn't provide for future events, the result will be like if you hit Nuclear Power Plant, except without the big boom. And Foehn is slow to recover on low power except by selling stuff

it's also balance. 

 

One it is costly and it gives a lot of power hence a foenh player will may build a few of them

 

And that makes it a good for someone to blew a couple of them, as the cost too. especially at the early game.

In your first comment you talk about "lore" so no a single word about balance other than "hey those cost more". The point is -and i´m aware of that kind of reasoning the advantages are way to big for almost no drawbacks.

 

i'm not saying they should get same power income than other factions but after filling a pp epsilon will have -100 power than foehn at almost the same cost (1100) and 300 less hit points... allied are way worst. And soviets, well soviets can build nuclear reactors at tier 2 xD

Epsilon can still recover power much quicker than Foehn though. just insert spare soldiers on a newly built reactor as you train your spook or build additional reactors. Foehn doesn't have that advantage.

Yeah they don't had upgrades like a the Allies or the Nuke Reactor from the soviets either.

yes they recover faster

but remember at the time epsilon achieve barracks, bio reactor (full) and refinery they spend $3600 while foehn only $3200 and still recieve more power (+100) and hit points (300). Use epsilon to compare because they have the best power on early game... just that foehn's one is better

 

by the way if the enemy blow up your power you deserve the punishment so i fail to see the point

Besides there being a lot more missions that can be difficult keep track of, having only one color on the loading screen makes the screen look more detailed, as there are more similar colors to use in its palette.

Well Yuri's Army aren't officially born until the end of the war, even the Scorpion Cell perhaps they're located in North Africa as stated

That model is unreleased.

Besides, the radio towers should remain using a neutral design. or the Tokyo Tower, because that looks more of a radio tower than both C&C3 buildings used there.

The Hailstorm and Gehenna Platform are still listed on the website as "Unable to be cloaked", which is now fixed, so it should be removed. :)

Wonder if it is possible to have a jet aircraft that can carry an infantry inside it and paradrop it anywhere it wants.
