Isn't the stallion exactly that? When that unit dies mid-air the infantry can paradrop so the logic exists in some way maybe. They probably thought about a unit like that but figured the old chinook was just fine and just made that the stallion minus by just removing the gun.
But what if you could paradrop vehicles? Imagine if instead of the warturtle, the foehn amphibious transport was a flying transport instead. It would probably be too crazy, but pretty cool.

I might add : 2 different factions that are supposed to be at war with each others as well, yet can literally work side by side when it comes to fighting the Soviet army

I would really like to suggest easing the difficulty of firewalking a bit in easy mode. Getting baseraped continuously from two different factions for 50 mins. straight is really no fun.
Like;
Our base is under attack

More like the devs need to fix the AI in that mission.

Yeah, Firewalking on Easy really needs to be a LOT more easier. Some players seem to just get "locked" to the base. I personally couldn't even try capping the US base.

Once you reach the Amplifier a lot of rebel forces start attacking one side, giving you an opportunity to strike the wall. And the Epsilon attacks are not that bad. No magnetrons or masterminds at least. And there are like three earlier moments where they fight each other. Those are scripted, however. And the attacks are easily hold off with all the reinforcements, Catas and Desos.

I had no real problems with Firewalking on Easy. I do understand you get attacked all the time by 2 bases. However, you get a lot of reinforcements on easy and I mean a LOT. And after a certain time you can kinda expect where the attacks will come from. And you only need to capture the Amplifier. Just bust a hole through the Psicorps forces with catas plus desos, buratinos and the received scuds. Take out enough so you can sneak a cata with an engineer in and capture the Amplifier. Boom! You are done.
Easy to said than DONE. The psychic amplifier timer make it worse

That's a bug, which is going to be fixed in the next update.
If you notice, it worked like the one in Beautiful Mind right now

I tried with Catas+Desos with Vultures for additional anti infantry, and at least successfully build a Tactical Nuke, also several siege unit like Burritos and SCUDs in Easy mode.
Quite hard to push but i made it.
Tactical Nuke is very useful to demolish Epsilon defenses.
But still, the mission briefing is quite deceiving

The mission was suppose to be US vs Epsilon vs Soviet but instead it become US and Epsilon vs Soviet which is kinda not part of what the story in that mission work. The devs do need to fix the AI in that. It had to be a battle royal not some WWE ganking

I think the reason why the Allied keep attacking the Soviet instead of Epsilon in Firewalking is because how AI would choose the closest enemy to their base to be their target, and very rarely send very small army to other enemy in the map?

The biggest sin is when they are both at the same place as we are at the same time, they can hang out with each others without shooting one another at any occasion
