I wonder if it's possible to have a mechanic that when you put tesla troopers near tesla reactors, they could charge it like a tesla coil and that generating some extra power.

Tesla plants are bad because your nuclear plants are way better than any other advanced power plants. Just build sufficient tesla reactors and sell them later.

Spam dogs, and also your very cheap conscripts.

Both allies and soviets can't achieve T2 with one power plant. Still, allies can build tier 2 and then the power upgrade, isn't a bad deal.
In normal circumstances, you wanna build 2 power plants and then the field Bureau, but I find it too risky. I prefer 3 Tesla reactors before T2 That way I can keep a second refinery/airbase. Having one extra PP and Ref, means you are much harder to beat at early game.
Is this whole thing unfair? when compared to Allies not so much, when compared to epsilon you can see they have all this power but with a bad HP/Cost proportion, sounds fair to me. The one thing I didn't understand is why Foehn has the best Power/Cost and at the same time a higher HP/Cost than Epsilon... insert "because it is expensive" meme ples

Well, Foehn thingies end up costing plenty of power, and they don't have any other extra power source (While Epsi has reactors that can be filled, soviets nuke reactor and allieds turbines). Think for example the Inhibitors, they cost 300 power and a Windtrap gives you 500. That also add that the Windtrap is a 3x3 building, which occupies more space and even makes Foehn hard to base walk depending on the map.

So yeah, since Foehn uses a lot of power at the end due to Inhibitors in most cases (And Plasmerizer as LB) i think it's okay as it is.
But I guess you are talking about Early game, so then not sure at all what to say about that. After all the Windtrap costs 1200$, try keeping that in mind also.

That is why I talked about proportions and not prices. Foehn power is statistically better than Epsilon and Allies (upgraded). Soviet power is the worst at t1 and the best since t2.
Wanna know something funny? Foehn power requirements to achieve full tech is the lowest from all 4 factions (except China). Foehn needs two PP for T3 (-600 power) and ends with +460

Foehn power efficiency -power/cost (the bigger the number is, the better) moves around 0.42 and 0.44. Allies from 0.25 to 0.3. Epsilon from 0.25 to 0.36. And Soviets from 0.25 to 0.56 (0.75 nuclear only)
The point is, Foehn power isn´t more expensive. It is CHEAPER. Only Soviets can unlock a better efficiency and they pay for it at T1

So, the best power plant gets any drawbacks?
Space? How is that a problem?

Windtrap should be less tough to have an actual weakness... Around 900 HP
Why 900? using that number you get a similar Health/Cost than upgraded Allied Power Plant, therefore, a similar risk.

Since the Pacific front use cryo tech most in the allieds, I think that they should have a new support power, a cryo blast (like the allied support power in Red alert 3). Like the mercury lazer but instead of burning enemies, it freezes them instead

It was replaced by the Hummingbird in 3.3.

By freeze, do you mean like the Cyrofield in 3.0, or like the last stage of the Cryocopter's weapon?

Would it be possible for Sensor Towers and Clairvoyants to un-disguise disguised Spies, so that your forces auto target them?

I think Stun Grids already do this, iirc.

Infinitive absence.

Back in the release day I thought this was their intention. I mean you were supposed to watch out for the sensor tower in Huehuecoyotl...

This support power will be redundant with the presence of the Hummingbird.

The euro alliance have the paradox engine. PF can have king of all robots
Or is this taken by the centurion.

Centurion is China's true hero and only mean to mount an artillery siege. Yunru (as iconic as she is) is just its' addon

Allied factions are fine as they are *shrug* balance is probably their problem (Black Eagle, getting nerfed afaik?)

Don't forget suppressors though they are getting nerfed too with everyone complaining about the setup involving them and battle tortoises :3

Though there should be boss units in mental omega like the arceus from that crappy as fuck CnC4 that is unplayable but retardedly broken and could pose a real challenge.

Hello everyone!

Don't know if this is the right thread for this kind of nonesense, but here we go.This is my first time posting here since the release of 3.3 and I wanted to pass big congratulations and thank you to all the guys involved in the development of MO. This is a truly excellent mod which manages to mostly capture the spirit of the original games. All you miss is some campy FMV cutscenes filmed in the basement. I really like that so far you've been able to sustain a rather consistent tone oscillating somewhere between Red Alert 1 and 2 level of silliness with some eventual peaks going to 3 and above (little psychotic anime girls or damage-inverting beams for example) and it's really engaging. And the plot generally makes sense within the borders of the created world. I was actually a little sceptical of the general Foehn design but after a couple games I find them fitting. Maybe those supernova-like explosions from their weapons are a bit too much and doesn't really mesh well with the rest of the game graphically.

Now, I'm only starting to get into PVP so I don't have any solid thoughts on balancing. Factions seem pretty even with the exceptions of several units but I've seen that there is a new patch on the way so maybe I'll wait for it before commenting.

Campaign  missions are generally fun, although I don't really like lenghty missions where I need to escort some critical assholes when they are rolling slowly by themselves. And no, terror drones hiding behind trees/buildings/garbage cans are not fun. If such missions were a little shorter then repeating them over and over again wouldn't be so intimidating. The most creative missions are definitely co-op as they really encourage some sort of cooperation between players.

Lastly, I really appreciate the (almost) completely original voicework of new units. Some of them are top-notch and could easily be the part of a commercial game. Marauder, Thor, Mantis or Battle Tortoise are some of my favourites. I'm not a huge fan of Dunerider's voice lines as they reach the previously mentioned "greater than 3" spike and I'm actually happy to see those units die. I think it just doesn't fit the spooky frankenstein-like tone of the Epsilon, most of the other units actually sound intimidating even when delivering the campy lines.

What I'm missing is the "donate" button somewhere. Otherwise my enjoyment/expense ratio reaches infinity and it doesn't matter if I like MO or not. And I do, by the way.

But theoretically speaking - is it really the case though? Nowadays you can have a Patreon page where you record playing games while swearing a lot. If that's fair use, why wouldn't modding a 17-year old (Christ, I feel old) free to play game be monetized?
