The rivendell and lothlorien stuff are now devided bettween the Rivendell warhall and the Lothlorien barracks.

Yestaday i put together a "faction" trailer. A faction trailer is basicly showing a couple of factions in battle. Since screen shots never give you the full picture if you know what i mean :lol:

Its about 5 mins long, and contains footage first of minas tirith and mordor, then of southern fiefdoms and evil men.

As its long it made it a bit big. So i did a low res version and a high res version, so those with dial ups stand a better chance of seeing it.

it is quite good, but i think that you have more interesting things to show like some hero powers or spells. this was a bit boring for me.

Holy Flying Tomatoes Batman!

Those Souther Fiefdom units look absolutely AWESOME

Not too crash hot on the Noldor Warrior or Lorien Royal Guard Skins though. They seem... really bland. Although the RG skin would make an excellent reskin for the Lorien Warrior

Although you need to Fix Saruman and whatever "Beam Weapon" he's using :)

im bad at skinning, so you can tell what skins are mine. The awsome looking sf models and skins are mostly nertea's, and a few of zimoos and mine.

I was basing the royal guard off the elves that went with haldir to healms deep (in the films). I made those skins ages ago though, so they arnt my best, so im sure i will be reskinning them.

Im not sure what you mean by fixcing sarumans beam ting. If you think it looks to powerful, its one of his new powers he has when he gets the one ring.

Not the best image, but as you can see, the cloak is merely for travelling, to "hide" the elves as such. I can understand it, but I believe a more refined look to match the Helm's Deep movie would look better. Just my opinion ;)

On that note, I understand your reasons re: the Sauraman beam, the problem is the Istari wizards could only conjure such things through their staff, but hey it's your mod. It just looks really... wrong. I hated it about the CAH's too..

i see your point. Hmm im not sure how i can fix it to come from the end of the staff instead, ill have a look.

About the elves, i dont think you realise what ive done. The above screen shot is of them without heavy armour.

halidr and the royal guard can then above upgrade to heavy armour, shown in the below screen shot which was in a update some time ago.

i based their non heavy armour on what they may of warn in lothlorin when not marching out todo open warfare.

is it an fx problem? i thought it would be something todo with making the beam come out of the weapon bone or something. FX coding is not my strong point though, so i dont really know ;)

the healers, and guys with triangular shields look awesome, gr8 choice in model/skinning with those healers they look the part perfectly :grin: and the shields are awesome ;)
