I am working on a very large list of maps atm which I have collated from various info from the staff. Once I cut it down and make sure its OK I'll post it up for everyone. I may post it in another topic, so I can mark down who wants to do which map, if there's enough demand... but there is no way I can do all the maps myself.

Thanks, we appreciate it.

One thing. Is there a way you could host the pictures on something other than imageshack? Imageshack doesn't work at all on my computer for some reason. If it's a problem, then don't worry about it.

Yes we still need mappers. So far only I have joined, and as said above am making a list of maps that people can put their names forward. The more mappers who want to help, the more maps will be done. So if you want to help, that would be great. I am sure your maps will be great having seen some of the maps {IP} have done before, especially Dol Amroth.

Of course. And remember, we're looking for good looking maps, not ones with crazy scripting and map.ini work.

althought the main thing about the map looks cool, you should make the terrain better... you know, so we dont' look at the gras all the time ;)

also, Player 1 seems to have a huge advantage ;) he has (with some achers) 3 farms\lumbers and one outpost, while the other two "share" one outpost, and have one farm for themself, but player 3 has a better chance of taking over player 2's farm ;) might wanna do some more balancing :) if you wish...

I'd say leave this map and have a go at one of the maps from the list I will be posting up very soon. It has about 18 maps to choose from, not including fortress maps.

Dain has added my list to the first page of this thread.

Here it is again:

I am sure most of you will have seen this thread, and some of you may have been interested in helping out with maps. Perhaps though you werent sure which map to do. Therefore I have created the following list of skirmish maps that need to be designed and made.

Things to note:
No fortress maps yet. I will work on some, but others may need special buildings created. But they obviously are very low priority.
Just skirmish, no silly scripting although some might be necessary at times.
All locations have images floating around on the web, just type it into Google Images. I have checked everything, so I can post what I have found if people cant find it themselves.
If you want to just design and not make thats fine, just post your concepts and ideas up, with a map drawing of some sort, and let whoever take up making it.
Add a reply to say you are working on a map. That way I can edit the list so that I can add your name to the list so that we dont have multiple maps.
Dont post too much WIP, we want the map content to be a surprise more or less.

Send maps to me and Nukumnehtar

My brother used to make a few maps. I might be able to get him to make one for you.

Are there like limits for certain maps? Like for instance Umbar can only have two starting bases or something?

No, just do something thats sensible. I.e. Umbar is a city port, therefore it should have the sea on the left (should NOT cover much of the map) and should have buildings etc. City maps usually have 4/5/6 players, and that comes with a size of 400-500 square feet
