I greatly disagree on any other factions having archer riders, because it should be a rohan exclusive thing. However, if Khand is going to be portrayed like the mongols, then they should have mounted archers. From my history textbook i kept a while back. "On war ponies they wielded large bows that required a hundred pounds to pull, and blew thundering horns to terrify the inhabitants"

I agree with you that only Rohan should have mounted archers, but if Harad is going to be the evil cavalry faction, it would be up to the modders.

One of the Dale minifactions already has cavalry archers.

To me it would make sense for Khand to be the Elite cavalry supplier of Harad, but not to have horse-archers. Probably just really good cavalry with upped stats, that should do fine. Or some really unique cavalry units.

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

Does that imply that Khand have mounted archers, if so that would make Khand an evil rip-off of Rohan, would it?

Yeah, cause horse archers are such a unique thing. It's not like the Noldor used them extensively during the First Age is it?

I'm just saying that horse archers aren't unique to Rohan... their strength lies not necessarily in having the most powerful cavalry, but that they can field all types of cavalry, something no other faction (with or without its minifactions) can do. Plus they have a unique class of cavalry that is the best in the game.
edit: oh, except wargs. Expect Isengard to be the best Rohan-killer now.

I agree Nertea. Personally I always though Rohan's cavalry strength came purely from the amount of cavalry they could muster. Not to say they're not skilled of course, but personally I'd take a Gondor Knight over a Rider of Rohan anyday of the week.

Hopefully not. I'd hate being Rohan and having my calvary be destroyed by wargs who were supposed to be less powerful than the Rohirrim in patch 1.3 or 1.03 which ever one it was

Of course the Wargs aren't gonna be the strongest cavalry in the game. That would be plain stupid, unless you meant strongest as most damaging. Anyway, no the Rohirrim didn't have the best cavalry in all of Middle-Earth (the Elves of Imladris and Dol Amroth were big rivals in that department), it was just that they used them extensively and, as Nertea and zimoo said, how much cavalry they could muster. To me it personally wouldn't fit for Khand to have archer-cavalry, but if the team decides so...well, it's their decision anyway. I wouldn't mind seeing Warg archer-cavalry; there were many in the movies.

And also on the palantir pic for wargs, the orc is holding a bow. I disagree on Isen having mounted archers.I wouldn't mind seeing Warg archer-cavalry; there were many in the movies.
