Why Wargs > Rohirrim?

...The Journey doesn't end here; death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass. And then you see it. White shores...and beyond. A far green country, under a swift sunrise...

I was trying to emphasize that Rohorim own middle-earth's cavalry no matter how powerfull they may be.

I think you and I were posting at the same time Uruk King. ;) I was referring to mh_gollum's previous post. ;)

I'm just saying that horse archers aren't unique to Rohan... their strength lies not necessarily in having the most powerful cavalry, but that they can field all types of cavalry, something no other faction (with or without its minifactions) can do. Plus they have a unique class of cavalry that is the best in the game.

edit: oh, except wargs. Expect Isengard to be the best Rohan-killer now.

That's why

I think it should be:

FU Rohirrim (Gondorian equipment = pwn0rz) > FU Wargs > Wargs > Rohirrim.

That may not be entirely correct to Tolkien, but Rohan has insane cavalry leadership (well I guess it will), so to have them beating wargs one-on-one anyway would be unbalanced IMO.

If things work out the way I want them to work out, they will have different roles. Wargs will kill horsemen, but won't necessarily be better.

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

Before we go on, one question: will the actual warg be able to attack this time? Or will it still be the rider, while the warg just stands there and does sweet f*** all? Anyway, I agree with zimoo's layout of 'who dominates who'.

I agree with zimoo to... cause, well... the horses probably get some armor, while the wargs doesn't get armor... only the rider get's the upgrades, right? on the rohirrim both horse and rider should get something...

Well, the Wargs could get warg collars as an upgrade. It provides extra leadership and a slight speed boost, or something along those lines.

Thank-you. Or, just thought of this, it could enable wargs to attack, giving them more damage against infantry.

Okaaaayyyyyyy........

In ROTWK the spiked collars could be given to the Angmar Wolf Pack, who are basically riderless wolves that look nothing like PJ's warg design; They were basically oversized Timber Wolves. But anyway the Spiked Collar upgrade boosted the armor of the Wolf Pack.

I actually prefer the ROTWK wolves to PJ's, they're more as I imagine Tolkien intended them to be.
