I never liked the Generals shell maps i rather it just be calm with maybe 1 or 2 units driving or just a picture. Faster load up and stuff :p


you mean like my one, above?

normal ZH wasn't laggy, but Contras and Remixes are. too many particles, thats why i made my one shown earlier.

if any one wants it ill upload it.

Gen challenges aint gonna happen anytime soon monkey poo, they have no mapper so making the challenges work is impossable.

Can you add a button to Super Weapon’s patriots that will make them always be deployed? Underplayed they have more defense but are useless against air. Deployed they would be weaker but more effective against air. You could switch between the two depending on the circumstances. I think a nice balance of each in a line of defense would be pretty good.

Super weapon general is all about strong defence making them stay deploys would only make her defence weak again making her pointless, it would be better to just add a second defence purely for AA.

unlike remix, SW has a weakness early game, its aircraft. adding an uber anti air defense like in remix would be stupid as sw would be able to p4wn everything.

leave her as she is. :p

Creator can't (or won't. You choose) add more sides.
And I don't want those armies
Mainly because
1. They're not superpowers (or terrorist groups. Love for ma shihads)
2. Israel is in SO many other mods its not even funny any more

it doesn't matter. There will be no additional countries added. There arn't enough AI slots available to support any more. Mods that do add a 4th faction do so by converting the generic factions, just as Contra/Remix use those same generic slots for the new generals.

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

Didn't ROTR add another one with out converting a generic faction? i haven't played it in a while so i don't remember, but im sure it did.

Didn't ROTR add another one with out converting a generic faction? i haven't played it in a while so i don't remember, but im sure it did.

I'm prety sure they got rid of the vinella USA China and GLA. The engine has a maximum number of AI slots.

got a stupid idea.

for Robot general... can you make robot general's Command centers to construct buildings around them just like the old CNC factions (NOD and GDI) could make them? btw i dont think this engine can support this one. this makes robot general to become independant and those nasty CPU/player wont hit my dozers anymore. but at a cost...they are more slow and expensive.

btw is there anyone that can help me animate a mech?

its a cool idea, but the game willnot support it. I'd love to have 2 or 3 styles of base building, but its not an option.

its a Vulture mech, I did all its stuff...but cuz its my first work i got some questions.

-can we skin a unit by using multiple skining files? means more than one skin file is used in it.
-I cant align this giant beast to world. (in the hierarchy tab in tutorials it said you must do it.)

Nice mech but from the angle of the picture it seems a bit bulky or stumpy for a valture and nose seems a litle wide. But over all nice mech :thumbsupsmiley:

sweetness! I like it. For a BattleTech replica, yeah, its a little wide, but I honestly think it fits the ZeroHour profile better this way.

If you use Gmax I can teach you some skeletal work, and how to animate. I use ventrilo, maybe this weekend I can find some time and I can walk you through it. I'll keep my MSN and AIM turned on for a change.

If I may I'd love to use that model as well. Fair trade?
