They sure do....but maybe the uruk raiders could be in a battalion of 20? I've always thought that isen was ripped off in bfme2 on the massing front.

oh, and will goblins and orcs cost less CP eventually? Like 40 a piece, same for their archers and pikemen.

- Think the Raiders are 20? At least they were... but maybe Sul changed that? I don't remember? Are you sure they're not 20?
- We might change that too, at least for Goblins. They should SWARM :lol:

Yeah, that's a problem I've run into when playing gobs and mordor. They get untis out ok, but later on in game when it's army vs. army, there's just not enough CP room to get the orcs/goblins you need.

oh, and maybe the orc pikes could be like the goblin pikes and have 20 battalion members. The mass gobs is beastly.

Oh, and raiders have only 15 members.

I think horde size for all factions should be reduced so that the whole battalion can fight together. you know, instead of the first half attacking and the second half just runs around behind the first waiting to be flanked.

That behavior can be remedied by either increasing attack range (like pikemen, to be able to attack over your buddies shoulder) or by increasing their 'horde center leash' which prevents them to move to far from the center of the horde once the melee has commenced. This might be a better idea than reducing troop numbers.

Yeah.... reducing hordes below minimum of 10 (elite units), normal 15 and big on 20 (gobs) wouold take the game in the wrong direction. We want MORE units on screen, not less :lol:

I think it'd be cool to throw in as many varieties of lair units as possible. Maybe give the goblin lair a few pikes, too.

HARADRIM LANCERS!!!!

Lancers don't really work like pikes do. These lancers are very weak, but from a distance they are very good against monsters and cavalry. They could be level 1 haradrim palace, easterlings level 2, and archers level 3. Here's the code for them:

Command_ConstructMordorHaradrimLancerHordeInn

I just added them to the haradrim palace command set (on regular bfme2) and they were there. Good non-upgradable fodder unit, if you ask me.

Lancers would be cool.

Also I think Consairs should be able to get Heavy Armour.

^^agree. Since u have minas morgul orcs now corsairs are pretty much just antistructure. Perhaps they need another function, as well....

I always hated fighting them darn spear chuckers....

As for the Cosairs, maybe they can board any ships(like they would a transport)and give it speed, damage, and armor bonuses.

After all, they're bloody pirates....

the cosiar's should have an ablity that when on a pirate ship that can board or capture an enemie's ship

Definately, since the AI THOROUGHLY takes advantage of naval warfre. Man, that was an annoying match, though i ended up killing em with 2 bombard ships, an elven warship, and 4 battalions of last-alliance elves that i shipped over there. 'twas epic...but weird. the mouth of sauron kept coming over and attacking this one piece of my wall. very annoying.

this was in umbar, btw.
