YEah, they're pretty awesome, I agree. You'll have to get in touch with Istari productions, though. I went ahead and told them you guys were looking for mappers, since they're looking for a project or sumthin like that, and if they're interested, they'll probably let you use the giants. They'll probably want something in return, though.

I don't think they look THAT cool... but they are nicely done. The Giant skin is sorta hard to map =)

I'm not sure I like them using enormous armor though... Who would have made those for them? :grin: And what's that thing on the big toe? A giant sock? hehe... But seriously, if tehere's anyone over there looking for "work", especially a mapper, they'd be welcome :mad2:

Hey, they're giants. they coulda made it themselves. And besides, this definately beats the Giant Speedo-Walkers of the Morgul Fail.

heh...had a feeling you'd find it, too. The spokesman for Istari productions said that they ahd some people who might be interested in mapping for you, just to pay them a visit and see who's interested.

So.....any goblin heroes gonna be archers/spearchuckers/anything besides a swordie? i thought maybe one of them could be a shaman...and have wizardy skills.

Suggestions

Remove half trolls, spider riders and spiderlings replace them with wolf riders, wolfs, and add new heros like

Hm, you really should read more before posting... ;)
All those things have been discussed several times :p

I would say it's 99% certain that we won't ad more units to Goblins than what he have or are about to though. Goblin faction will be renamed to Moria and contain:

- Goblin Warriors (swordsmen)
- Goblin Pikemen
- Goblin Archers
- Goblin Guardians (or some fitting name for the Gundabad Warriors, which will be the Half-Trolls, scaled down)
- Goblin Wolf/Warg riders (cause I simply think it would be booring to use the Isengard Wargs again, unless we find a way to make them look different). These will replace the Spider Riders!

Heroes will most likely be:
- The Great Goblin (using Goblin King, scaled up)
- Azog <pending> (I KNOW he's dead at this time, in the books... But he's in RotWK though :p)
- Bolg, son of Azog
^ For those two we might use a combination of CaH parts and other models...
- Firedrakes
- Shelob

That's the plan for now...

well...a shamany Gob makes sense because they prayed to the Balrog. With any kind of sacrifice to the big flamey guy of wonder who knows what kind of chaos you could call down. And if he's not a shaman/witchdoctor, what sort of combat would he practice? I vote spear...

- Drogoth will stay for now, I like him and they need him...
- Spiderlings will be summons by Shelob only, and stay in lairs off course... but they wont be recruitable units any more. (This is for BetaV though).
- Goblins shamans... allright... if nobody opposes it (Lore guys, step in?) I guess I could ad those. We have a working model from Argolis =)

it's not the one holding the rock candy, is it? A goblin shaman should have a staff, and wear light armor IMO. All the goblin shaman would do gameplay-wise is buff your units and reak havoc from behind the lines. Might even remove the need for the drummer....whcih you could make into a fortress upgrade.
