This should please some Fans... ;) The Veterans are no longer Hammer based only. They also use axes now...

I'll make sure his unit also has a great bonus vs structures, just like Warriors with Siege Hammers =)

I've got a suggestion: why not reskin the great beasts who carry the siege equipment so they look more like this (those are Mordor beasts, mind you) and less like this?

Haha well, you should know that already. We've talked about those since a 1 year back ;)
The discussion was wether to change those into ponies for dwarves and have those Beasts in Mordor, scaled up, pulling Grond or doing some other usuful thing...

Problems include: Massive remodeling.

I remember that discussion, but I'm just suggesting to change the skin of the beast to something more brownish then pink.

I see them as pretty grey rather than pink, but I'll have a look at it ;)

aye - i noticed that the description for the Axethrowers is "strong vs structures" - but they dont seem to take off much damage vs structures at all - maybe a damage boost is needed?

@Warney: If it's possible to bind the model to a horse scaled down to a pony, that would be rather cool *noted* =)

@Verdan: Thank you. I'll see to it that it's fixed =) The axethrowers fate will be an adjustment to the BC. They'll have a cart instead, with axes, to increase the logic. They'll be MUCH stronger and limited, and thus function as an Elite ranged unit :D

If you want ponies for the dwarven heroes, which I don't, then you'll have to do drastic measures, I think..

1. There is no mounted model so small, so you'll have to use a full size horse, and scale up the model (in the model)
2. If you scale that down in the code, you'll also scale down the normal dwarf, making him.. well, very very small ;) So, the only way to get a unmounted and mounted dwarf the same size, you'll have to bind the unmounted model to another skeleton :D
3. What good are ponies on a battlefield? They aren't very good for charging I reckon, and aren't to fast for an armored dwarf..
4. That's about it :D

Hey there I have an idea that may give the Dwarves a new(But realistic) taste ingame. I've noticed, that with BFME2, one overused Dwarven melee weapon is the two side axe. With RotWK, a new common weapon is the "Mario bros" hammer :D . So here is my list:

1. War Mattock
Posted Image

2.War Pick (This is a Medieval Turkish War Pick)
Posted Image

3.One sided Axe
Posted Image

4. Mace (You don't need an image for that)

These would all be great for the Dwarven Veteran. Thanks

:D , whoops. LOL, I was in a rush. I fixed it now ;) ...

But also an Authentic Warhammer

I would say to add these to the Dwarven Veteran so that it gives a more authentic and randomized feel for them...
