Eomer and Rohirrim (could u rename them Riders of Rohan, since Rohirrim is too general imo :) ) don't go at the same speeds; Eomer tends to lag behind when I move my cavalry around.

Yes, I will go through and make sure the speeds of the heroes/units are all standardized and working well within the faction. I knew Theoden had his charge that made him faster, but I did not know about Eomer.

the axe man rohirim are weaker against structures than normal rohirim, though in tool tips is said they are strong against buildings. ( and they take longer to build and cost more ) soo .... just you to know

Personally, I'd like to see Haldir switched from the Elves to Rohan permenately. I mean, guarding the borders is nice and all but when you march 300 soldiers or so to aid an ally who's morale and numbers are crappy, and obviously would be crushed w\out help, that's really showing off quality. I think that, because his little army practically saved Rohan, that he should be made a hero of Rohan instead of the Elves. That, and it seems kinda aqward to have someone like Theoden or Eomer leading Elves.

That won't happen I'm afraid. With the way the elves are being rearranged into subfactions the heros will be more important to each subfaction. So if you choose lothlorien, haldir will be an important hero, along with galadriel and celeborn

I think something needs to done with Haldir. Correct me if I'm wrong, but his only powers are a leadership, a weapon toggle, and another ranged attack.

In the MOTE thread (because we got a little off-topic) we discussed the Three Hunters power and how it compared to other powers such as the Balrog....

Ok, but I agree with scryer that he is also too weak. He isn't worth more than Arwen to me. In fact, Arwen was made somewhat useful in this as she is easier to level and gets flood at level 4 instead of 10.

for haldir, guys he has area dmg, he can kill a lot of enemies in melee soo i think hes ok

Ok, but I agree with scryer that he is also too weak. He isn't worth more than Arwen to me. In fact, Arwen was made somewhat useful in this as she is easier to level and gets flood at level 4 instead of 10.


One of my ideas with Arwen is that she could become a hero that is used to heal troops and other heroes plus flood.

I'm thinking that Haldir could get a stealth ability?

Anyways back on Rohan, I think that the Three Hunters power is pretty much equivalent to the Balrog, assuming that they share the same timer. Now what's going on with the ents? I've heard many stories about them, like one faction would get more types of ents. Are they going to be the same for the Elves and Rohan?

I just finished watching those videos, I didn't know about this. I think that that's pretty freaking awesome for the elves. I assume that the three types of siege will be divided between the subfactions?

I'm finding the peasants to be a little light on damage when drafted but without upgrades. Fine when upgraded. It's not that they are too weak - they should be weak given how spammable they are. But because they seem to have stronger health than damage, I'm finding that when facing peasants it's easier to ignore them than waste time fighting them.

I think the Rohan fortress ability needs improving.

I think the Rohan fortress needs a better ability, as in comparison to all other factions it is pretty useless I must say. I mean we have: Elves = Eagle, Mordor = Fireball, Dwarves = Catapult, Goblins = Drake, Gondor = Palantir, Isengard = Lightning, Arnor = Palantir, MoTE = Earthquake (I forgot what theres is)

Instead of countering the effects of freezing rain, the horn should stun enemies in a wide range around the fortress. What this would do is allow Calvary to be more useful as they can then trample stunned enemies.

I can also get the sfx from The Two Towers if you wanted

You got this bad, Rohan horn STUNS

Haradrim horn cancel freezing rain ( i think it should cancel darkness and the shiny light or whats it called, too , for only few races got F. rain. soo its not really " hearthbreaking ", it should cancel all this 15pp efects)
and does short stun ( i think )


Now yesterday i played loonng Rj game as Rohan vs brutal Mordor and Gobs.

and by this i found few pretty serious bugs:
-Rohan fortress:
fire arrows dont work
prerequirement (sp?) for Horn of helm hammer head, doesnt do any skiny change of walls nor fortrees
Banners upgrade wont lower the cost of heroes, it lowers just the resurect cost

units heroes:
Hama s ability Hero Assistance, cant be " gained " it says lvl 3, i had him max lvl and didnt get it
same abylity, for gamling, aint working ( i think it was gamling )

Rohirim dont earn experince, no matter what they kill, they just wont lvl up, only way to get them exp is use " Train allies " ability or something like that.
Rohan Spearman formation ( think its wedge formation ) doesnt work, if you deselect them and select them again, its restarted.
When you build stables near walls and make exit in back, the uits will spawn on wall ( soo bad i didnt took screenshot ), and as you know, mount can enter/exit walls, soo i had no way kill them nor put them down.
Expensiver, Rohirrim Axeman do less dmg to buildings than normal rohirrim ( lol and they should be anti building, if i follow the building tip )

and lastly, - Horse stampade, does too little dmg ( should took screenshot too, but was lazy, well nvm ). they had problems to kill spiderlings ( practically none dmg to mountain giant ),
and now something weird - Vs buildings its ok . . . well vs towers ( buildplots ) and Fortress add ons ( buildplots ), all other buildings are untouched by it, it was weird, when they run through fortress, killed towers and the spiderl lair ( or whats the name where spiders spawn to attack you ) and didnt even scratch fortrres.

i dont want to make anyone to fix this right now. I just want to point some serious buggs ( the Rohirrim no expings is propably the most serious, with 25pp horse stampade not working right, . . . well all of them are pretty seriours )

Are you sure it stuns? If so ignore me it was my brother in a LAN game claiming it was useless. I must also agree that the Stampede power is too week in comparison to other Lvl 25 powers, against a large army all it did was knock them down and damage them, whereas the Elven flood destroys buildings and kills enemies. It would be nice to see this improved as it is a cool power how it looks.

Balance is still being worked out...but rohirrim do gain experience? I don't know what you mean....and the horns are not really working right yet.
