The Rohan banners at the Fortress do not reduce the cost of Heroes, and Porters...

i luv da mass rohirrim call ability thingy... luv how u can juust create battalions after batallions of rohirrim and rohirrim archers within a mere matter of seconds!~!!! so fun, if u have massed enough money too :p

Hey Rob, great job with the Rohan faction! Just some of my thoughs/observations...

- I really love the on foot royal guards from the barracks! But maybe the description should tell you that you can only get one battalion, I wasted time saving up for another group of them and then found ou I couldn't buy more :good:
- I dont really like the mounted royal guards that you get in Helm's Deep in the campaign though, they seem a bit... boring perhaps as they are.
- It's a shame about that hardcoded Create a Hero faction problem... but I guess that can't be helped.
- The veterancy states for the barracks are well done, although the rank 1 building seems maybe a bit plain?
- The yeomen archers' and soldiers' colours seem quite different to the rest of the Rohan troops, especially when using heavy armour.

And also a few bugs...
- The sentry towers that can be built on the plots by the fortress... the cost is listed as 370 but they don't deduct it from the treasury! Therefore I was able to get all 6 towers for free. The other expansions work correctly.
- The 'Draft' and 'Horn of Helm Hammerhand' powers appear greyed out on the Fortress command set before the upgrades are purchased, but I think we the other factions the buttons are hid before the upgrades or bought?

My favourite faction in bfme1 was Rohan, and it looks like it might also be my favourite in RJ-ROTWK :p

Anyone also notice how when Eowyn does her disguise her model gets all screwed up like her horse goes all over the place?

Yeah, I've seen that. Also if it is used when she's unmounted she suddenly becomes mounted.
(I must confess to taking advantage of this as a quick way to retreat her from battles as its much faster than the mount/dismount function)

I don't know and don't remember if it and I mentioned it before, but when I put elves or yeoman archers in towers they don't shoot enemies

rohan need supporter unit like healer unit i think it is good this unit become a banner or captain (cavalry)heal unit in after war an have some waek leadership power

Rohan do have wells for healing, and a 5pp power.

And the herald's are kinda banner captain people.

I think Rohan needs some heavy units, like Helmlingas.
You could also add Outriders.

Rohan already has several forms of cavalry (lancers, axemen, archers, scouts, and guards), so outriders is kind of pointless. They already have some heavy infantry too (elven warriors and royal guard)

Here's an idea:
You build peasants and, similar to thrall masters, you can choose swords, bows, or pikes to turn them into swordsmen, pikemen, or archers.

Perhaps you should try playing as rohan. If you do, you may notice that there is a unit called a herald, who works exactly as you just described. :)
Which is wierd, cos it sounds like you haven't played the mod, so well done for guessing something that has already been implemented :p

Sry Ive never played this mod :p Also I meant that the peasants would have their own upgrades that do that.

rohan in war of the ring mod have a problem the axeman (cavalry) when we take them in to the forge (in living word)they never take any upgrade.

Some have already been mentioned but...

-Hama's level 3 passive ability does not activate. Unsure if it doesn't work at all or it's not labeled correctly as "Level 3".
-Upgrading the Castle with Fire Arrows does not actually upgrade the wall towers with fire arrows.
-The Castle Banner upgrade doesn't seem to lower the cost of Heroes and likewise, unsure if it works with anything it says.



Not a bug, but something I felt I should suggest.
-Gamling should have a toggle Bow/Sword skill instead of just using his Bow on a mount and Sword on foot. Maybe increase his cost if this is implemented for balance.

I'm sure I have more to add, that will come back to me and I'll edit accordingly.
