Obviously, you hide her with the rest of the rohirrim when you attack, and she's kinda like a secret card you're hiding under the table :p

obviously i dont even bother to hope that someone does this and if someone does, then it still will be like 1 from 10 people ( if even the 1 :p that power just suckx, just give her something diferent, or let her get some dmg increase when discuised or something )

The idea is:

You disguise. The enemy has no idea she's there. You use smite/whatever on some super powered hero, and pretty much kill or severely own them so your other units can finish him.

smite is weak as apple pie ( against anything that is stronger then a normal unit - monster, hero, siege )

and the the discuise ( damn sp ) is ABSOLUTELY usselles against AI ( for the poor me can get just skirmish, :( at least brutal is strong as it iss, lol i wonder how easy would be to kill him if he had no discount and just changed AI )

Eowyn's 'Disguise' ability is also true to lore...she didn't ride to war in a regal set of iron-embossed armour like Theoden or Eomer, but instead joined up with an eored (Elfhelm's, heh) and remained hidden until she fought the Witch-King mano-a-womano.
So maybe she could use the 'Disguise' ability to link up with a battalion of regular Rohirrim, replacing one of those already a part of it? Would remove the 'single Rider' problem.
Cheers,
-mike

elfhelm, I love that idea of having Eowyn link up with another battalion when she uses disguise... But I think that it would be too complicated to code. I just think that if you microed Eowyn into the middle of a bunch of rohan riders, you would get the same effect.

Yeah, I've been meaning to mention that there are some funky things going on with the horse-riding heroes for Rohan. And by this, I mean that they do some awkward moving when you click them to go somewhere. For example, I'd click somewhere (like behind the hero) and Eomer (for example) would sometimes go in circles and then eventually make his way there. Has this happened to anyone else?

same effect . . . not against AI

have you ever tryied riding a horse ? just a casuall question ( for i have - spend two weeks on a ranch . . . . ouch my " something " hurts when i even think about it - dont ride a horse unless you get some kind of protection - at least double thickness of trousers between legs, or something )
becouse horse is not like a car - it cant turn immediatly in the direction you wish it ( it could but if it would happen when running, it would broke leg or two ), it needs to turn the huge body in the direction you wish, and sometimes it even needs to do circles. Soo dont be angry of thoose poor " ingame " horses :p they are just true to their real selfs

i never ever in my full year of car-driving experience made my car turn immediatly in the direction i wished. It always steers with a bend :p

still i think what scryer ment to say that if you click somewhere they dont turn on the spot but make some weird manouvres all about the map and then go to their destination, wich offcourse not they way it should be, because it costs you time.

You mean like bfme1 where they stopped and turned around? I think the circle is more realistic, since it would be easier to turn that stop your horse, spin him, and kick off again.

And horses do? :) I know for a fact they don't as I've ridden horses :p

Yeh I like this way better!

My point wasn't that the circles thing was unrealistic. I just forgot to mention that sometimes they make several more circles (to the point where the realism is very inconvenient) than needed, or so I've experienced.

That's beyond realism; more like surrealism. If you're trained with a horse, there is no way in the world it is gonna do that.

Meh, might be. Just thought that it could be something that the team could spend 5 mins on. Besides it's not that big of a deal. Moving on.....
