its not like you can build a mine right next to the enemy base, it makes all the seige equiptment very vunerable if you have to move them from your base to the enemys, it would make more sense that they would transport them underground, and yes it would op them a litle, but i dont think by much.

They wouldn't be OP, it would simply let the Dwarves get their siege to the front faster and that's about it. Unless ur unaware of whats around u and dont scout, then rams and catas won't be sneaking into ur base.

I'm not too sure on seperate Hammer-upgrade guardians and Forged Blades-upgrades guardians. It seems kinda pointless. Why not just have ordinary guardians that can receive both? It seems slightly pointless. Could King Brand have a Leadership ability?
And perhaps Bard could have a Lvl.10 Dragon Bane ability, that deals heavy damage to flying units?
I would like some more detail for Bilbo. I gave some suggestions in the appropriate topic.
It would be nice for the Dwarves to have some Dwarf Archers, with cloaks, that can stealth by trees. They could be less armoured, but do better damage than Axe Throwers, and be able to receive Flaming Arrows.

Dwarven (Ranger) Archers would, for the most part, defeat the purpose of MoD. Just needs a rethink.

I think Bard already has a monster-killing black arrow move, IIRC.

I agree, there are few things less stealthy than a dwarve.

But seriously, hammer guardians need to start out with their hammers.

Guardian could arguably be derived from the ancient Dwarven fortress of Khazad-Dum which was heabily guarded with none other than, you guessed it, Guardians. But I think the Dwarves are worth subfactioning.

What's wrong with Dwarf Archers, they used bows in the lore.

Because he was arguing for dwarf rangers.
Dwarf archers would be pointless anyways, we already have MoD.

I think they could work if the Men of Dale were made into a late-game unit, or the other way around.

Like while I think Dwarf Archers are ok in the Lore I think in any real sense it would look silly, they are slow moving though sturdy and strong, and there arms are physically quite short to fire a weapon, plus their beards would get in the way, that and the fact that they probably wouldn't be physically able to pull the arrows out of the bag on their backs. And by the time they had the arrow ready to fire they would be dead. With an axe it's a sturdy weapon with a medium range, of course it bothers me that Dwarves carry an infinite amount of throwing axes on their backs but hey they're Dwarves :good: I just don't think there is a way to make a dwarven archer look cool, think it would just look awkward. BTW I am not Dwarven Archerist in any way :p
