Well I've been playing angmar on the same settings again yesterday, and realized i was indeed carelessly wrong about the RB's (u never no ;) ) but the temple of twilight still won't build!! this is a pain in the ass as no matter how many buildings i destroy, it still has a red square base when im trying to position it! :p

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but today I was playing a BFME revisted map and found that the inn wights are incrediably OP. I sent two in on a suicide mission against a full, not yet attacked, mordor base, and they alone took out almost all the units of mordor and only died vs the fortress when they started attacking it. I had another bug, but I cant remember it now , so i just ill post it when/if i do :)

Despair is only for those who see the end beyond all doubt. We do not. It is wisdom to recognize necessity, when all other courses have been weighed, though as folly it may appear to those who cling to false hope. Well, let folly be our cloak, a veil before the eyes of the Enemy! For he is very wise, and weighs all things to a nicety in the scales of his malice. But the only measure that he knows is desire, desire for power; and so he judges all hearts. Into his heart the thought will not enter that any will refuse it, that having the Ring we may seek to destroy it. If we seek this, we shall put him out of reckoning.

if not using inn wights . . . . . angmar s weaker than in RotwK

i was obserwing game ( brutal arnor / brutal angmar ). After like 8-12 min of gameplay Arnor ruled the whole map, and cornered angmar within fortress area, keeping spamming units, he owerwhelmed him like zergs owervhelm space marines ( dont mind the example . . . )

Karsh is a little bit weak, he gets stronger from 5+ lvl . . .
thats all soo faar

How do you observe a game between brutals? I've been wanting to do that for ages.

And Kharsh is seriously OP for his cost...

arnor is kinda unbalanced and op anyways, but i dont think we really did much with angmar so i dont know how they could be worse

Forgot that, arnor brutal can be any other one atm because of how easy the koda are to get.

Other than their KoDA-like cavalry, they don't have much to make them insane, unless I missed something;

Hobbits are weak in armor (+sherrifs cant hit moving targets with rocks), basic infantry are ok (nothing special imo, though archers are good), Elves are ok (nothing special, they're good 2nd tier units and they have great pikes, but i wouldn't call that minifac OP), Dunedain have Rangers, horse archers, a powerless captain (iirc), and fire arrows. The rangers and FAs are good, but not OP. As for heroes, yeah they do have some good heroes but they're killable and not like Angmar heroes.

I'd feel really stupid if I missed something for (pretty much) the only faction that I play these days...

their basic units are pretty good. relatively powerful good battallion sizes, not really slow, and cheap(ish).

well for the observing, i just sided wiht one race and didnt build anything, i just sat in ma base and watched the whole game, using gondor ivory tower to reweall.

and for arnor - it might by thx their really easy way to get their Kodas, but im not refferring to this. He just " swarmed " over angmar using only basic units, mostly soldiers archers and 3+ heroes, and hobits of course ( they arent that weak as you think, if they r not primary targeted, and just keep throwing stones, they can bring down troll easily )

dunno, dudez, maybe do the same as i did, just let them battle dont interfiere and you ll see ( i played it on 4 players map dont remember the name right now ).

But they're not particularly amazing or well-armored. They're just good and IIRC the elves have better infantry.

How much do they cost though? And guest, observing like that is a little biased sometimes because the enemy sends units after you as well. Did you have to defend yourself at all?

Just an opinion, but, I never sat too well with the Rhudaur axe throwers, they were a bit well unrealistic, So I was thinking that you could replace them with Rhudar Spear throwers, because the whole axe-thing should belong to the Dwarven faction, and mabye some more Thrall units, for extra versitility.
I will remember Rhovanion Alliance, RIP .

I don't know, I'd be all for either Rhudaur Spearthrowers or Axethrowers.

One thing that really needs to be fixed is Hwaldir's leadership. It doesn't affect the Wildmen unit that you get from the ROTWK inn.

I mentioned this in another thread but I think that the thrall units should get little upgrades. I was thinking a forged blades and Banner Carrier upgrade for them.

IMO, axe throwers would be better than spearthrowers...
Well, atleast the axes are smaller, and thus unlimited ammo seems better for Axes than Spears :thumbsdownsmiley:
Spears are harder to carry loads off too, I would guess...

I also thought the Angmar faction was a bit "mannish" as in not as may orcs as one would expect.
