D'oh. What I meant is he was descended Huremor, a Black Numenorean, who, along with Ferumor, made a dominion over the Haradrim after Numenor fell. Both died in the Siege of Barad-dur.

Hope that clarifies my meaning :thumbsdownsmiley:

I agree with the Numenorian general. It's strange that there wasn't one in the first place, considering thats Angmars key infantry unit.

Morgomir currently fills the role of Black Numenorean hero, despite the fact he's a Wraith. He even has a special temporary leadership power for them.
However, I'd rather have him dressed in a robe and use his current skin for Vampires. And also, it would be nice to have a real Black Numenorean hero.
Oh, and Thrall Masters are Black Numenorean too, by the way. You can tell by their masks, voices and clothes.

My hero idea for Angmar~ I think it's rather good, by all means have a look~

Voniel
All in black, with the CAH Avatar robes and a hood. Could he possibly be one of the Nine, like Morgomir and the Witch-King? Who knows...
He's the leader of the Angmar Sorcerers. He fights with a staff with a purple glow, with a small chance of knockback.
Cost: 2750... could be more.
Description: Recruit the sorcerer-lord of Angmar who fell under the thrall of the Ring years ago.
Powers:
Lvl.2: Morgul Blast (green fireball that does no fire damage but extra magic damage)
Lvl.5: Shadows of Angmar (neaby enemies temporarily suffer a debuff in speed, attack and defense and have a random chance of cowering in fear)
Lvl.7: Soul Drinker (spell which drains health from nearby enemy units and heals nearby allied heroes including himself)
Lvl.10: Sorcerer's Gambit (temporarily does triple damage as well as splash/meta damage in a large radius (like Sauron/Storm Queen's attack but weaker and in smaller range), but suffers a major drop to armor. While under the effect of the spell he cannot use any other powers. If he dies while this spell is still in effect nearby enemy units will be blasted back by a minature Word of Power. The FX for this spell would be the same as Blademaster but purple)

What do you guys think? I particularly like his Sorcerer's Gambit ability.

Seeing as I want the Sorcerers drawn and quartered (concept and everything), I can't really say anything about that :p

You want to get rid of the Sorcerers? Hmmmm. I guess it makes sense since (in my opionion) only the supernatural (undead and Maiar) should be allowed to use magic.
But I think many disagree. I don't hate them, in any case.
Voniel is one of the improved Nazgul, meaning he isn't ordinary, but I won't go into that now.

It's good for gameplay and helps make Angmar unique by having the only unit that A) has purchased powers and B) has to kill guys to use them. Their powers are pretty unique as well and the concept behind them isn't that far of from Angmar's theme of fear and monsters, even if they weren't "canonical".

No men could use magic. But for men to use magic was evil. Since man is not granted their own power then they have to use and draw power from another source. Now no good source of power (magic) would ever do that, it is against the laws of Illuvatar, so for men to use magic power it must be from an evil source. A dark spirit gives the wizard the illusion that the wizard is controlling him. The fell spirit then is able to take control over the wizard. There are varying types of magic using men but their power all comes from the same source and is all evil.

Isn't it mentioned somewhere that a unclothed nazgul was invisible to the naked eye, and could be percieved only by a sense of dread if they were nearby?

Exactly. They even copied the Cah from the characters of T3A.

Yes they were. If memory serves correct. :p
