Like I said in my post, I don't really like the idea of he Necromancers being a thrall horde type unit. There should be one Necromancer, a hero unit, who can revive the dead and call up skeletons and all that - since The Necromancer (Sauron) could (and did) do that during his stay at Dol Goldur.

But do not think for a moment that we shall not fight. We shall not go quietly into the dusk. We shall not throw down arms and flee, or surrender. We will go on, we will not falter. And even should we die, we shall make an end that will be remembered for thousands of years. For beautiful Arnor that is, for glorious Númenor that was! We are the Dúnedain, we are the Men of the North, and our foes will remember our steel!'

i believe his point was that angmar (and arnor) need some inn factions, as neither of them have any atm. dol guldor could be one of the ones for angmar.

That is the last time I post late at night. Sorry guys  .

well, heres my 25 cents ;)

I like Capains idea of the BN's, they should stay, but in LIMITED numbers
what race is the dark rangers and men of carn dum? hillmen? Traitors?
I Prefered that you could spawn wights from the temple, that could be cool, and we'll get them included in angmar :p
I really don't like the trolls, werewolfs and vamps in angmar, but i wouln't mind if they came in.

when that is said, i think you should get new skins for the Angmar banner carrier flag... it's pixialized....like most angmar units anyway...
And it's current music theme ingame for Angmar (in 1,06) is awful!...change it back! NOW!
you know, aesthethics matters as well

The Men of Carn-dum were a collection of different races of Men, really. They were traitors, in part. Some were just brigands, some were simply evil Men. The Men of Carn-dum was just a generalized name given to all of the Men that came to serve under the Witch-king of Angmar.

I don't like the idea of vampires and werewolves either, but people really want 'em in. So I just kinda fell in line and agreed for the most part - you have to know when you're beaten. XD Besides, I guess it was kinda possible that vampires and / or werewolves found their way down south to Angmar after the fall of Angband, maybe...

Very doubtful, but maybe. Like, 1 / 1,000 chance, but Angmar needs units so they could be used I suppose.

I was thinking that Wights should be spawned from the Temple of Twilight (or Dungeon, if its changed to that) and maybe they're a different kind of Wight. Kind of like Karsh, you know? Barrow-wights are just too generalized, and they can be spawned from the inn. Maybe these can be Wights of Angmar or Angmar Wights. Or something like that. Ghouls. I don't know.

And finally, I think all Angmar units are going to be re-skinned.

'The Twilight of Man is nigh, and coming ever closer. The days have shortened into cold, forlorn darkness and sunrise to sundown is a bitter struggle for survival. What about adding more dark numenorian units? For example Dark numenorian pikemen, knights(cavalary)? The trolls are not realy a cavalary so I think it would be nice to have an alternativ unit.

Dark Numenorians are being reserved for an elite/mhh role for Angmar.

Besides they were too few in number to number a full army, especially in Angmar.

Maybe the Dark Numenorian Swordsmen and Dark Rangers should be elite units, and as an MHH make Dark Riders, which are basically like a Black Numenorian version of the old Gondor Knights of Dol Amroth, 2 horde max to keep to the canon (not to be confused with Black Riders [although it could also work to have a cavalry MHH of 7 Nazgul Riders, 1 horde max]).

I think that the Angmar Morgomir should receive a major re-skin, the fact that he's a Nazgul and goes around without barely any covering doesn't make sense in my mind at all, So I propose that he be re-skinned to look something more like this:
Witch_King.jpg
That way, he still looks like a Nazgul but a little bit more armored because of his status as Lieutenant of Carn Dum.

And, yes, I know that that is what the Witch-King looks like in LotRO (I never played LotRO, because I think that all MMORPG's are scams and a waist of time and money.)

And BTW, I also think that when the Angmar Witch-King gets his re-skin, his body proportions should be balanced. His legs are too small and spindly for his upper body. And what's with the giant big-toes?

That'd be pretty cool. I mean, in lore, its said the Ring-wraiths are invisible, and have no form, in reality. They have to wear the robes to 'give shape to their formless bodies'. Morgomirs blue-tinted skin is far from canon. Don't know what EA was thinking.

Oh wait, I do actually. 'WE'VE GOTTA GET THIS GAME OUT NOW STRICT DEADLINE JUST THROW IT ALL TOGETHER AND LET EVERYONE WE SHIT OUT OF THEIR MONEY BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT GETTING A TRUE CANON GAME, WORTHY OF J.R.R. TOLKIENS WORLD, WORRY ABOUT IT.'

Only problem I see in using it is getting LotRO permission to use the skin design, if that needs to happen.
Other than that I love it :tongevil:

Agreed I've waited along time to see that pasty sod looking like a true Nazgul

Not to mention Rogash, if there's a troll design closer resembling a the movies design style, it should be implemeted, ASAP.

May be there is some sence in the way Morgomir looks in EA version. May be it took some time for Morgomirs ring to make a real bodyless nazgul of him. So may be at the time Angmar existed Morgomir was still a human(partly)?

Anyway the new skin is awsome. :tongevil:

It can be possible that Morgomir was more "human" during Angmar's time, but certainly not with him blueskined. :tongevil:

Morgomir was most likely one of the first Nazgul turned into wraith-form, and if not one of the first then he was certainly turned before the Witch-king. Details come now. Prepare for lore-speak.

In the canon works, it said the strongest of the Lords of Men lasted longest from the corruption of the Nine Rings. That was the Witch-king and Khamul, with the Witch-king lasting longer than any.

If the Witch-king turned last and he was a bodiless wraith in the time of Angmar, then canonically and logically there is absolutely no way Morgomir kept a man form longer. Not possible. The Witch-king was 50x stronger than Morgomir, who, as far as we know, wasn't even really a Nazgul in Tolkiens works - only ONE was truly named, and that was Khamul the Easterling. There were three Numenorean Lords (one of which we can definitely assume was the Witch-king) and Khamul the Easterling. There were four others as well, probably of the lesser races of Men but still high Kings among their people.

See? There is no way Morgomir should have man shape in the time of Angmar, if the Witch-king doesn't as well. Thats like saying Morgomir is stronger than Saurons right hand, his strongest warrior and Captain. And as a fan of the Angmar Witch-king, I dislike that. >:(

If it's too much trouble to ask permission from LotRO for their Witch-King skin wen can make a slightly different one. Say, take a normal Nazgul skin, give it say, a Witch-Kingish helmet (with the beast-like face but without the actual crown), large gauntlets, and an uncommonly large Morgul Blade, (which make sense since his lv.10 power is a "massive damage to building" power).

Although, if we can get permission from LotRO for their skin it would be better, just still add the large gauntlets and Morgul Blade.

And BTW, if my skin idea goes through, that would also mean changing Morgomir's portrait.
