-Build Units
or
-BUY the upgrade
Why not give people the same option for Gandalf?
Let them pay for him if they want to(The Gandalf the White upgrade), or let him die and then become Gandalf The White.

Why should there be a cheaper one? What should it be like( a miniature Trebutchet, lol)?
In my opinion siege is cheap enough.

I think you should have enough time to write in whole sentences
When posting Suggestions, PLEASE:
- Keep it SIMPLE and SHORT and TO THE POINT!
It doesn't nessesarily have to be cheaper but I thought something with a ram perhaps. (In my opinion other factions have a bigger/better variety of siege equipment.)
Edit: Or perhaps a more 'original' approach -> Cart full of things that burn easy and cause a big fire, push it against a building and light it up. That causing the building to burn. (you get the picture)

Weren't Ithilien Rangers actually Gondor archers?I think it would be a good idea to add the building ranger tent to the mod. You could spawn ithilien and dunidain rangers from it, because a gondor archery range isn't the best place to make them, you could use the ranger tents from BFME1

After you have bought it, there are 4 standing ouside, at each corner
-->like this http://arwen-undomie.../DoG/DoG008.jpg
When the enemy approaches, more guards swarm out and defend the citadel but you cant control them(maybe in a radius like the basefloor).
They should be 20-25 single guards (no bataillions, just like creeps), having heavy armour and forged blades, and having a very high health, so they cant be killed by one hit, and maybe being not crushable by cavalary(i think of them as units with spears) (-->combined with high cost)
When the enemy has killed some of your guards, you can rebuild them for extra money.
OR when you have the "houses of healing"-upgrade, they respawn automatically after some time (like near a well)
They should also benefit from the leadership of the bannerupgrade (for fortresskeep)
Maybe you could replace the "boiling oil" with it, because other faction already have this "lets throw something hot on the enemys head"-ability for the fortress, these guarding units would be something new and cool.
You could also call them Fountainguards, because in the movie and books, these guys were not part of the normal Gondorian military.
They should only defend the Fountain, the White Tree and the citadel, they took no orders from stewards, only from the king himself.
They were something very special/unique, so it would be cool, to have them guarding your citadel as nonregular units.
EDIT:
I know there are already Fountainguards, but these guys, coming in bataillions, don't feel like the ones in the movies
In BFME they just some pikemen, but in LotR they're the best Gondor has, and they didn't go into war, they defended the citadel, after all other defences were destroyed
This is what i want in BfMe, and i hope you think so, too
I hope you understand what i mean^^
So what do you guys think?
