For the non-combat roles:

-Ravens of Erebor
-Thrushes of Dale
-Radagast's Hawk
-Crebain of Dunland (which *may* in fact turn out incontrollable and just a mini-faction power)
-Great Bats of Gundabad (most likely same as above)

Ok I know I'm probably about to really tick someone off but I just couldn't resist asking, What's the deal with the Eerebor update? Didn't you guys say it was coming soon like 3 months ago? There hasn't been a major update in a year and now sneak peaks are coming in slower and slower. I'm kinda starting to get worried about the fate of this mod.

well sneak peeks are fading now because of Xmas and now most of have exams, so it is bit too much for anyone to handle. Erebor isnt come as well as we want it mainly cause it is like thousand of new anims and such. if you follow sneak peeks regulary you should know that a lot dwarven units and even buildings has been shown allready.

Hello,

first of all I would like to say hello as this is my first post :). From what I've seen so far Rhovanion Alliance is just awesome, the heroes, new units, buildings, abilities - everything looks simply stunning, I can't wait for release :shiftee:.

Now my question: Will system requirements be higher for BFME with RA installed? On some screens there are vast numbers of soldiers, and I wonder will BFME run smoothly with so big numbers of troops on screen. BTW my PC is P IV 3 ghz, 768 mb of ram and GeForce 6600GT 128 mb.

nope, i dont think that any unit should be limited in counts. it just dont work that way. gondor cavalry will not be as good as it was in vanilla game.

Usual factors:
1. They will be able to test lots and provide helpful bug reports.
2. They can be trusted not to redistribute the mod or parts of it.
3. Testing experience.

Maybe Dain and Nertea have other factors, but those should be the three main ones.

i see point 2 as the most important one. cause we cant allow anyone to talk abou the mod. i personally see at least medium level modders as best testers cause they can refer the bugs better.

Will there be a public beta when you're close to finishing? Or would you rather wait until the whole mod is almost flawless before releasing it?
Am I Belgian or Flemish? Hmm, me thinks I'll just stick to European...

Now i think that i have those 3 or i gues because i have experience and so find bugs easier and of own experience i can be trusted.

PS:i don't want to set my high or something

how many we see fit..
But I don't know why your asking all these questions, as we're not having beta testers for a (short?) while yet :) And we make the choosing, and I don't think any of you should have high hopes of getting in, as we might not know how good you might be ;) So, don't hope too much, but... There are alot of bugs, but it's been a few months since I last played :p (gotta get a certain thing up and running)

of course, anyone else on the team may come here and slap me, and tell you the truth if I mistold you :D
