beta entusiasts;
don't be sorry :)

Fuh;
I don't know about the Nazgul, but the reason EA made them just sit there, is because they can damage your own units ;) and you can make them Guard the area..
AI will be implented, as far as we hope and can do :p

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but I thought I'd give it a shot and ask anyways.

One of the things that annoyed me about the vanilla game, is that any kind of trebuchet/catapult can't hit anything moving at a brisk walk. Generally speaking, the trebuchet should aim slightly in front of their target- to maximise damage.

Anything about trebuchets/catapults being changed in RA? Other than size, of course. :)

Quick edit: I changed my avatar, but something seems wrong... do you all see a squished Rohan Rider? Or a Guard of the Fountain Court?

I'd go with 2d3, 3d6, 1/2d7, 1d10, 14d12, 8d20, 13 quarters, and a groundhog.

I'm not sure if you'll need all that, but if you figured out a system from it, it would be the greatest in the world.

GotFC.

AFAIK, the moving target thing is a game limitation. Trebs do have a target function so you can aim in a certain place, but you'd have to redo it every time.

definatly a engine limit. anyways trebs and catapuls arent designed as antifantry/cavalry weapons but antistructured ones.

Fair enough. So, otherthan clicking the target every time, there's no other way to circumvent this? Pity.

there several ways how to show those upgrades. it is still under discoussion in the team forum. most likely there are 3 ways to go. vanilla game style but with improvments, definatly not lighsabres anymore. some sort of FXs , but it is hard to make sure that it will not lag the game to the hell. the third is used by some unit now, it is real change of weapons.

Will an upgrade in weapons/armour still be well visible? I mean, not that I don't like new skins better than just loads of gold, but tactically it could be useful to see which enemies are upgraded, and I'd like to be able to see quickly with my own men too, if I'd like to upgrade.
Am I Belgian or Flemish? Hmm, me thinks I'll just stick to European...

Most units will have a fairly visible skin change, except the elves whose lighter armour upgrade is invisible.

So they will keep the same skin? Oh well. By the way, what do you intend to do with command points in the campaign (if you decide to make one)? Keep the cp limit of 300 or 600? Or will you change it?

Actually I think I read somewhere that they will be creating a campaign, but probably not in the first release, but later. And I forgot where I saw it, but mh_gollem said that he might have done a part of the campaign allready in the first release.. not sure about it though...
