Actually it's coded in, it has to be activated by map.ini, and I've never gotten around it making it work yet :p

Hey, I got a question, how DO you get Minifactions? Do you buy them at a fort, or is there some special way?

Few questions:

1. How come 4 of the faction links on the site don't work? Are they just not done, or is it some "big secret"?

2. Is there a place where powers for the heroes are listed? Cause I'd like to know...

3. Can minifaction heroes gain levels? If theyre built from a building other than a citadel then I don't see how it's possible.

4. Do you have a trailer? In-game screens are great, but there's nothing like seeing the mod in action.

1. The haven't been finished yet. We don't show updates until everything is done. But check out the sneak peeks for around a 100 individual previews.

2. Not really, there is a Hero Powers Discussion Topic somewhere

3. Yes. A hero can be built anywhere (although respawning is a different issue). Pretty much all heroes have 10 levels.

4. There is a very very very old one on our site (under Downloads)

Concerning the Mirkwood core faction units, I read in an interview that Mirkwood has some "pricy troops", just what sort of figures range in resources are we talking about?

Right now I don't think that is that important because it will be for balance and balancing has yet to commence. Just think, what you lose in price makes up for itself in ability.

Will the Harad Mahud just mount the balcony of the mumakil or will it mount on the head just like the movies?
Or will it have a mount at all?

The Mahud should mount on the Mumakil's head. :p

Yeah but's it's a hell load of codes to do that.
S.E.E has problem with this and BoG,RJ-Rotwk has the same problem.

The Mahüd just mounts on the top of the balcony and just give banner upgrades.

You'll probably have to give the Mumak a new Passenger bone.
The ContainModule is the easy part.
If you add the passenger bone you'll likely have to do it for all of the anims.
I started this in LW the amount of work is enormous and some of the anims won't open so I wish you guys good luck :p

Apparently not, it says in the FAQ that Horse Archers will be unable to fire while moving for, balance issues.

This is just my 2 cents, I think you should make a custom mounted skeleton on him and have him attach to the mumakills head, so have an extra bone on his torso, going down and attaching to the mumaks head, so the mumaks head is the passenger bone in other words.

That's the way I did it for SEE....

As you can SEE, it didn't work :D
It was rotated the wrong way, and stuff like that... could probably have worked, but I never got around it..
