In what faction? There are already some I think (Uruk-hai pikes and warriors... I think, maybe I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure they can). BTW Nertea, would it be possible to give us a progress update (or estimate, or whatever you can say, if you want to say anything at all) on the Erebor factions pages (this in no way is meant to seem rude or demanding, if you feel it does, I'm sorry for the offense).

The minimum necessary for an update will be completed in... 15 assorted building and wall upgrades and two units. So I dunno, late October? It's too bad it's taking so long, but Erebor is mostly my faction and I only have so much time to model and texture per day. Keep in mind that a good number of other things that I work on intermittently aren't update critical (build animations, base layouts, banner carriers come to mind), so things take longer.

Then we'll also have to write the webpages and descriptions :D.

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

A very good point that should not be ignored.

Hey I was recently digging through my old video games and I came across Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge. ;) Good game but more to the point of my story. On the skirmish options thingy where you choose who you wanted to be and where and your aliies and so forth there was another tab. It was called the Customize Battle Tab... anyways... under that tab there was a bunch of game options like, quoting a few, 'Meat Grinder' so only the basic ground units were usable. 'Mega Wealth' so you earn money faster. 'Normal' 'Unholy Aliance'.... and many more. Anyways I was wondering if it was possible to add a few of those options to The Battle for Middle Earth as lots of times, the seige weapons, espicially against hard enimies, just really seem to get on my nerves. Thanks for any possibilities this could create. Keep going and I love your work.
Take 'er easy. :)

What about little 'Power Up' crates or somthing of the sort. I think that that would be pretty neat to see.

But that would be completely off the point, not to mention out-of-place in this mod. :D

The money you earn from creep lairs seems like the only "Power Up's" that would really be necessary, unless they plan on throwing in randomly appearing level upgrades. For example, like the "good fortune" in the Moria campaign mission in BFME. Although, I highly doubt those will appear in skirmish gameplay or anywhere else except maybe in that same mission.

Hmmm, I had forgotten about those. To me they would seem like a good bonus for destroying a lair, except to make it balanced there would be a very small chance of finding one. Meh, it's off-topic.

Hey i was wondering if there would maybe be a diplomacy screen in which you could send goods(resources) to other players or possibly your allies if in a skirmish?

Thanks for the replay Nertea, end of October would really be awesome (god, October is so stacked now), I hope you can get it together by then :xcahik_: (no rush though lol).

Isenguard already has an Industry power, so it wouldn't be very original to have it target buildings, but I think that a map wide bonus to all resource buildings on the map would be a great idea for Dale (they're supposed to have an amazing (likely the best) economy, right?). Of course it would have to have a short duration or small boost to keep it from being overpowered, and maybe be a 15 Point Power.

If any of you have played Dawn of War you'll know what I'm talking about. Anyway would it be possible to put moral into the equation. NOt just "Nazgul, run away!!!!!" But I mean like some weapons do damage to moral, and when moral is at its lowedt the battalion or horde is near ineffective, but gains a boos in speed so you can get them out of the battle and retore their morale. Banner carriers would be like the moral restorers having an instant restore power

Is Hasharii a hero for Harad? Or some kind of elite unit you gave a new name? I'm guessing he's a hero. Also, in your Confirmed New Units topic, you don't mention Ghafrid, is he a Khand hero or is it undecided where he'll be or something? Is he even still in, 'cuz he's really cool looking.

The Hasharii (plural for Hasharin) are the elite "assassin" units of the main Harad faction. Their name is taken from Games Workshop (who came up with the concept first) and is derived from the historical 'Hashashin'.

Ghafrid will be a hero of the main Harad faction. The Confirmed New Units list is just a bit outdated.
