Now I found out that I need Win.Rar. so I went to the Winrar Archiver(your link), But I dont know which version to get.

Please Help.

1.) Do I NEED the audio and video files, or can I play without them?
2.) I copied all the files to C: Im hoping thats the right one

You don't need audio and video, those are just to embellish campaign.

Hi, I downloaded this ages ago and it worked. But I uninstalled Rotwk and the shortcut but I kept the .big file so I can reinstall it again. I have tried all the targets that other peoplehave been told to use and it doesn't work for me it just plays the normal game. What do I do?

we dont use a .big file anymore so thats your issue. all of the directories that we have been telling other people are for the newer versions that is simply a whole folder put in your c:\ drive.
so try redownloading it (the newer version that is) and putting it in your c:\ drive and you should be in business.

it took me over 5 hours of downloading and un-installing and re-installing to realize i needed WinRAR to download the mod properly.
in all the instructions for downloading this mod, that fact should be the most basic help for ppl, not crappy "put it into the C://blahblahblah"
i'm guessing most of the ppl needing help are mod n00bs (like myself) that would need to know that first

Why is it on filefront? I'm looking for more places for download for other options for installers and more, but the main reason is I did not want to put a strain on revora's bandwidth. With more than 1000 a week downloads when it came out at the file size I didn't want to touch the generousity of revora/t3a for hosting me.
I'm looking for more options for mirrors, but lordoftherings.filefront.net is what I went for in 1.05.06. It will still be available there for 1.06, but also elsewhere for those that don't care for filefront.

OK i downloaded it 2day and when i start it it says game.dat ahd a problem. i read oall the posts about this and revised my mod and it still crashes what do i do??!?!?

It is not illegal to do a CD copy when you've got the original.

why would you need to copy the cd if you already have it except to distribute it illegally?
