Well, I'm trying to finish up things as quick as I can, but it can take a long time sometimes to work through bugs and different areas.

I'm also trying to get the mod as finished as I can for balance (filling in powers, changing stats, etc.) because we plan on holding a tournament for RJ over the summer. This has delayed it a bit, to ensure all halfway balance items are done. (Archers, leadership, cavalry, armors, weapons, etc.) More details will follow, but I hope to have as many sign up. I'm definitely going to sign up if you all will let me :p

Wait and See.....

:p

Lol. Then I'll guess. My top 5 guesses are:

1. Paths of the Dead
2. Pelargir (or some sort of mission with the 3 Hunters). You mentioned though, that you'd add a Pelargir mission only to the Linear Campaign?
3. Shelob's Lair/Cirith Ungol (I'm oinly guessing this b/c in BFME you played Shelob's Lair inbetween Osgiliath and MT)
4. Esgaroth/Lake-Town
5. A mission that takes place in a Mirkwood Map :thumbsupsmiley:

And Rob don't feel rushed. This is your mod and once you decide to release the next public beta, I'm sure that everyone will be appreciate your work.

My sense of timeframe is crap. SO please forgive me, people :xcahik_: .

I probably should have mentioned timeframe and close proximity :p There are definitely a number of missions that could take place in timeline alone.

Just thought I'd post this here. Got a bunch of the coding done. (Who knew that the modelling was the least time-consuming piece of this process). Mapping will be the most, then coding, then modelling.

So here you go:

I'm thinking that it should be one big MT mission in campaign, but the outside needs to be a lot bigger than it currently is. Maybe if some of the objects can be reduced, more units can be included. EAs MT always seemed too small.

Ain't it possible to rename the most North-Western Eriador to 'Lindon'?
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

My only concern is that in some regions you have to conquer more to gain the territory bonus. Perhaps in areas where there are more regions make the bonus greater? I also think some people will skip going through the Gondor Region and the South of the mountains to get from one side to another, as it would take too long. People might go North more...

Agreed. Also Rohan and Harad need to be named if it's possible.

Puppeteer, I don't know. Now there are quite a few regions in Rohan so it might be hard for an enemy of the region to cross it. That is, assuming that the Rohan player has armies scattered everywhere in WOTR mode.

A couple of things to mention;

- All regions will be named (Harad, Woodland Realm, Misty Mountains, Rohan, etc.) I've just not finished and working on getting the right look with the fonts.
- I change the name Eriador to Lindon on the left, but it basically belongs with other regions. (I could split them to 2 regions, but might be too many regions. The regions are a little easier to change, so maybe in the future this will change)
- Different Regions will have different bonuses. Some like Rhun which only have 4 territories, will be like Australia in Risk. Small benefit but good to try to take early. I really want to work with resources gaining and army building on the living map so the RTS mode will be much more about clashing armies rather than army building. So expect the regions that are difficult to maintain control to have higher bonuses that will help reflect that control.

With WotR mode, I tried not only to focus on a regular WotR mode game, but limited maps for historical battles and other custom stuff that we can do.

Morgul once belonged to gondor, but it was taken.

Sauron controlled everything east of the east bank of osgiliath during the war of the ring, but faramir and the ithilien rangers sometimes crossed over the anduin at secret points to ambush and raid the enemy.

Well a safe-choice would be to make Ithilien neutral and ready for capture.
