You got it Ithilien, it'll have the porter functions in game for the CIS, building and fixing buildings, as for the Republic side I was thinking of having Astromech Droids perform the basic functions.

Ooh, cool... Droids would also work well as ship repair (if you ever get to the point of having the CIS aero-tanks or the clone speeders/walkers).

First of all, this is looking like nothing but pure awesomeness more and more.

Second, it's true, I'll be helping with coding. Due to "technical difficulties", I'm a little delayed, but I'm fighting hard! :cool2:

Third, instead of "The Twilight...", just put "Twilight of the Republic". "The" makes it sound rather....archaic. :lion: That's just my two cents. :wink_new:

Below is pic of the Pit Droid in the final stage of development, I made and mapped this model, all that remains now is that Rhiea with her artist skills will skin it, if you are wondering about the color coded skin, it's a downloadable tool called texporter for 3ds max 7, it exports the map multiple formats and in any size you want and color codes it so you know where everything goes.

Well it's a good thing you'll be fixing it up then aint it

Here's another WIP, I'm going to try and fly through making these models ASAP to get them in game as placeholders so that I can get down to where the real work is and that is coding artwork.

Posted Image

And I know he's got no ears, will be modelling them in real soon, once I figure whether or not this guy should be in the Jedi Robes or just in the under tunic

EDIT:
and here's the progression on the body, I'm more than likely going to use CAH hands and boots because they are modelled much better than I could make them, this model comes in at 4000polys about 2ice that of your average hero, i just couldn't get the smoothness I wanted, most likely I'll res it down for lower end computers unless you guys wouldn't mind having a medium sized poly guy running around.

I've had troubles with playing mods for BFME2 with RotWK installed, but a reinstall (of both) fixed it :p

And Windu looks great, although the feet doesn't really look.. well, real ;) and his skin seems stretched in some places..

You should try to map his chest asymmetrically if you can - the resulting skin would be a lot more accurate.
