But yeah, Speeder what you think of country suggestions so far?

Yeah, I too am curious of what countries you have listed under the "Countries to be added in Ares version". Even ones that you, yourself, have thought up.

I know who Nikolai Tesla, I found out about him looking through a science book once, If I remember right, he invented the radio? Never realized he lived recent enough for him to be in colored pictures though.

More or less. What he undisputably invented was AC Electricity, which is basically the model we use unchanged for most everything these days. Those big packs that are usually on plugs are tranformers to change the power from from AC to DC electricity.

Hence the name, AC/DC.

"No, No, its A-C-Lightning Bolt-D-C." But seriously, he should have been the Soviets Einstein in this game... Maybe a few more missions in the Soviet Campaign could be added/changed? Did he invent the tesla coil in RA1? My memories of that game are hazy.

According to Adam Isgreen (I think), yeah he was supposed to be in RA. That was the intention kind of. Its kind of implied thats his legacy anyways.

Must have been before RA1 since in the first Allied mission the Soviet base already has them.

Well actually AC power was already around alittle before Tesla's arriveal to America, people just didn't know how to use it properly, until he one day while looking at the sunset, got the idea of the Induction Motor, which now adays if you look in your car theres one in there *i think, may look alittle different* and the orgianl Tesla coil is actually the size of a lamp in your house XD but later on made bigger ones aka "Colorado Springs Experiments" Interesting Units This site has some really interesting ideas for units that maybe you could use in mod speeder?

Nah, speaking seriously it's not that. I'll continue country planning as soon as I'm done with current beta of MO and some of my university projects. Fan feedback is always important.

b) an improved carrier plane (Maybe a nod to the J7 Shinden-Kai concept?)

National Zeal: Their GI, Guardian GIs and SEALs have more health. Also, once critically wounded, they can cling to life enough to crawl in range of their enemies and still shoot at them (Cyborg logic leftover from TS)

3. Country specific unit proposal - Blackhand assassin (Soviet version of the sniper.. idea derived from the assassination of Archduke francis sparking WW1 and that the blackhand from the tib arc are based in Sarajevo, the Black Hand is in both instances.) Saber gunship (Bosnia's air force is currently mostly choppers)
4. Country speciality - Assassination- All infantry recieve 10 percent range increase, black hand sniper a 5 percent. (See above)

Edits welcomed as Im not creative, I do l think bosnia would be a decent county to include.

Well just make clear that some of the suggestions are really crap over here. Some of them hardly have an army anyway. The only good suggestion i've heard is maybe japan.

(not that i don't like suggestions, but c'mon everyone is just promoting his home nation)

Mmmm, I forgot really about Yogoslovia. I think the main reason mostly little countries are suggested though is that the large countries are already in the game lol. But yogoslovia would be good especially considering they were in USSR.

I'm American so hardly am I suggesting my own country, I say all Soviet & Allied European countries (or at least Soviet, Allied really don't need to be since Europe is where the major Allied powers are excluding America) need to be Alliances since that was the way it was in the cold war and that is the way it is now, Europe would be a hotbed of even more wars if it weren't for NATO, the Warsaw Pact, and the EU. Japan should replace Korea, if anything, just like it was originally planned for RA2, however, we can't do that since it is apart of the MO story.
