Soviet Long Range Defensive Structure:
Spontanor Tesla Artillery
Cost: 2500$
Prerequisite: Soviet Battle Lab
Weapon: Spontanor Coil
Power: -200
Role: High-Tech Defense
Biography:
A large towering structure with a single large Tesla coil and 4 smaller coils spinning around it. A giant leap forward in the Soviet scientific research. Due to it's tallness, Spontanor has a massive range, and due to the weapon being of Tesla origin, it can fire over walls, ledges and mountains with perfect accuracy. But that's not it, It's most unique feature is the red colored lightning it fires called the Iron Lightning. The Iron Lightning is created through splitting an atom that is exposed to Iron energy. The Iron Lightning can induce an atomic decompositions on the matter it has contacted with, generating extreme amount of radiation. If a vehicle gets hit by the Iron Lightning, it will take an absurd amount of damage and will leak radiation over the area it was present. If the lightning fully destroys an object, the object will unleash a nuclear explosion that will seriously damage anything near it. So far, the project is still immobile and various experiments to mobilize it has been conducted, but any of them is yet to reach success. But still, this towering red behemoth is something you should always fear when you are in a high-tech Soviet base.
Soviet Supportive Defense Structure:
Iron Barrier
Cost: 1500$
Prerequisite: Soviet Battle Lab
Weapon: Iron Shield Generator
Power: -150
Role: High-Tech Defense
Biography:
Iron Barriers are tall towers that generate a wide dome of Iron energy around itself. The dome protects the interior from outside objects that approach with high velocity, including bullets, missiles, shells, jet aircrafts and directed energy. The inside is literally protected from any harm that comes from the outside of the dome. But objects with slower velocity can easily enter the dome without much harm, including foot soldiers and vehicles. The Soviets have developed this barrier to counter enemy artillery positions and airstrikes from damaging their bases. The Barrier is essentially useful when built near a Nuclear Reactor, as aircrafts and artillery tend to fire at Nuclear Reactors first to cause higher destruction.
Chinese Tier 3 Zeppelin:
Yuan Airship(replaces Kirov Airship)
Cost: 2000$
Prerequisite: Soviet Battle Lab
Weapon: 6 BedI Combat Drones
Range: Long
Armor: Heavy
Speed: Slow
Role: Assault
Biography:
The Yuan is a zeppelin similar to the Kirov, but instead of dropping bombs that literally eradicate bases from the face of the Earth, it releases artificially intelligent drones that strike out at all hostiles. The Yuan had replaced the Kirov for the Chinese, because the Kirov felt useless due to the already strong siege capabilities of the Centurion. Instead of having a bulky siege aircraft, they decided to make a bulky assault aircraft. The Yuan carries 6 pads for it's weapon, the BedI drones. The The BedI drones are armed with special flak cannons that can pierce through any metal with little resistance. Although, the drones carry 5 shells for the flak cannons, they can go back to the Yuan to reload their weapon. The flak cannons are strong as they can mow down aircrafts and hunt down vehicles and infantry. But the flak cannons tend to have little use against buildings.
Russian Tier 3 Utility Vehicle:
Basilisk Tank
Cost: 1500$
Prerequisite: Soviet Battle Lab
Weapon: OCB (Obsidian Conversion Beam)
Range: Medium
Armor: Medium
Speed: Medium
Role: Conversion
Biography:
Reminiscent of the mythical beast called Basilisk that turns every creature that looks at it's eyes into stone, the Basilisk Tank turns all objects that it fires it's weapon at into a solid black substance called Combustive Obsidian or just Obsidian. The way the Obsidian Conversion Beam works is like this, the OCB fires it's black beam at a target and focuses on it until it is permanently turned into an Obsidian. The conversion roughly takes 10 second for vehicle and 4 seconds for infantry. The object that is being converted doesn't get any effect while under the effect of the OCB's focus, and is spontaneously converted when the time finishes.
So, what's with this Obsidian? The Obsidian is a very reactive material as the slightest contact can blow it up into a million pieces, causing extensive damage to everything near it. Whenever the obsidian gets in contact with a projectile or a unit, it will instantly blow up, taking almost everything nearby. The Obsidian will also blow up if it stays untouched for too long. Please note that the conversion does not work on buildings and the Basilisk Tank itself cannot detonate Obsidian.
PsiCorps Tier 2 Vehicle:
Phobia Droid(replaces Shadow Tank)
Cost: 1200$
Prerequisite: Epsilon Radar Dome
Weapon: Dual "Razor" Railguns, Psychic Phobia Generator
Armor: Medium
Range: Short
Speed: Fast(Hovercraft)
Role: Anti-Infantry, Anti-Armor, Harassment
Biography:
The PsiCorps likes to show off their latest applications of the psychic technology as soon as possible. Their latest unit, the Phobia Droid, is either a massive stroke of brilliance or an absolute waste of money and time. The Phobia is AI-controlled, programmed by the Epsilon ABP. It's movement is hovercraft, meaning it can traverse both land and water. It's primary weapons are it's dual railguns. The Phobia manually strikes at a target with only one of it's railguns while the other railgun automatically finds a target for itself to fire. If there are no other targets available for the other railgun to fire, it will proceed to fire the target it's counterpart is firing at. The railguns are effective against both infantry and vehicles, but it's short range can reduce it's effectiveness. But it's sidearm, the Psychic Phobia Generator is what makes the Phobia Drone so satisfying to use. The PPG can induce a psychic field around itself that infect the minds of enemy personnels, infecting them with their worst nightmares. The units infected with the fear can lose their concentration, causing them to move and attack much more slowly. The field takes over an area farther than it's gun range, allowing them to catch up with targets easily. Due to the fact that the weapon is psychic-based, it does not work against robotic units.
Headquarters Tier 3 Heavy Assault Unit:
Firestarter(replaces Master Mind)
Cost: 2000$
Prerequisite: Epsilon Research Lab
Weapon: PCD (Pyrokinetic Combustion Device)
Armor: Heavy
Range: Medium
Speed: Medium
Role: Anti-Infantry, Anti-Armor, Crowd Control
Biography:
The Firestarter replaces the Master Mind as the heavy assault unit of the Epsilon HQ. It's weapon is focused on a branch of psychic technology that is used widely but barely researched: Pyrokinesis. Pyrokinesis is the ability Initiates use as their primary weapon. The Firestarter's Pyrokinetic Combustion Device is a large device mounted on the Firestarter fueled by a largely unknown type of a fuel called Neuron Gel. The PCD works by focusing a large amount of psychic energy on a single target, creating a flame from it, similar to how Initiate uses it's weapon. But the fire generated by the Firestarter is much more unique, as the fire stays on the target for a long time and it lashes out to other nearby objects, causing damage to units near the blazed object. The raw damage from the blaze isn't very high, but the damage caused from the lashes from the result of the pyrokinesis can deal extreme damage to all that is near.
